Derry / Londonderry hotel

We were very happy with our stay in the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, before arrival and during check in and out. Room was clean and spacious, even with 2 pull out beds. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels and space for all to get ready. We stayed for a family night in the city. Location was easy to find and had a shop just in front (there was also a takeaway for late night food, which was ok). We had a great nights sleep, no noise issues and breakfast was nice. Again friendly staff eager to help and food was grand with a good selection of items. Sidenote: I loved that the toaster toasted the bread with just one speedy enough turn through the machine. I have to say that after booking I read some negative reviews, but I didn't find any issues (and I tend to swing closer to hard to please as a guest). I remember reading some reviews that remarked on the restaurant being in a different building, which is correct - but its connected by a corridor and a handful of strides from reception. If you want a clean, comfortable and welcoming stay, that's easy on the pocket, stay here! It was a quarter of the price of our usual place and just as good. Plus city cabs made it easy to get in and out of the city, fast friendly service there also.

The room was ok the staff are friendly but I wouldn't go say in it again we and my family went up on Friday I had a 5 year old up to get surgery done on Saturday morning she couldn't get a good sleep on the Friday cause it was like the people staying over us were having a party my daughter couldn't sleep and when I went to report it I couldn't find the staff

A big thanks to Sam ,Gareth and the team for taking the time to make our stay at the hotel a good one.The hotel is on the outskirts of Londonderry and is very clean which is a testament to the staff that look after it.There is a supermarket that sells fuel,groceries and hot food just in front of it plus a large retail park only about ten minutes walk down the main road which comes in handy .We did a number of walks into Derry city which is down a steep incline on the road opposite taking approximately forty minutes to do .The city is very interesting with many features including ancient buildings, pubs ,the city walls ,River Foyle walks and the railway which runs along the river for some miles along stunning scenery.

We loved this place we stayed 3 nights, staff were brilliant( Sam,Gareth )rooms were all cleaned could not ask for more. We walked into Londonderry and caught the train to Belfast for the day, runs every hour, and leaves at 38 mins to the hr, lovey coastal route plenty to see. The staff at Londonderry make you feel welcome. If you have any problems, just go and see them,which we did not. See you next year

Ok for a few days stay but not much more than that. No issues with the staff. Food in the evening was poor and found ourselves eating out for a few nights. Breakfast was fine.
