"Not Good"
Stayed at this hotel since it first opened and it's generally consistently good. This time it was very unsatisfactory. Total lack of visible staff. Those that were there gave the impression they wished they weren't Very disorganised breakfast service. No maintenance staff at weekend. Very dissapointed
"Clean, convenient, and good service"
Well located, clean rooms, and good service. The bar and restaurant were handy. Oshane's service and responsiveness was exceptional.
"A real disappointment"
While located close to Piccadilly Station and the Northern Quarter; it's interior and especially the rooms are very dated and unclean ( from mould in the shower to marks on the carpet (keep your shoes on) and sticking floors in the restaurant). We also had to asked to pillow cases and towels to finish the room; it appears that there is no quality check whatsoever. Real shame as premier inn was once a good place to stay.
"Ideally Located"
As a solo visitor, looking for somewhere to stay close to Piccadilly Train station, but within reasonable walking distance to the John Rylands Library, this hotel was ideal. Literally no more than 4-5 minutes walk from the train station, so nice and close by. Staff were all very helpful and accomodating. Room on third floor was very quiet, water pressure/temperature all good. Bed VERY comfortable. Free tea/coffee making facilities in the room handy, plus easy to fill up from Guest services yourself if you run out of anything. I'd opted for the meal deal, which at 26.99 for a starter + Main meal, plus an alcoholic drink, plus unlimited cooked breakfast the following day would be hard to beat on value anywhere. The food was exceptionally good - hot and tasty, and good on portion size. The breakfast was equally as tasty, with plenty to choose from. No problems leaving a rucksack with them for a couple of hours after I'd checked out, and able to sit in the large lounge area before heading off to the train station. A few niggles - struggled to get the key card to activate first time when checking in, but staff were able to resolve. Room air con for some reason is only programmed to go as low as 19 degrees - think this needs looking at, as a few degrees lower would have been welcomed. Overall however I'd have no issues staying here again and would definately recommend.
"Excellent, central base for exploring Manchester"
I had an excellent stay at the Premier Inn Piccadilly Manchester and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The location is ideal—just a few minutes’ walk from Manchester Piccadilly station and right in the centre of everything, making it a perfect base for exploring the city on foot or by public transport. From the moment I arrived, the staff made a fantastic impression. Check-in was quick and easy, and throughout my stay, every team member I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help. My room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The famous Premier Inn bed definitely lived up to its reputation—I slept soundly every night. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and peaceful, which was a real bonus. The bathroom was well-equipped, the shower had great pressure, and there was plenty of space overall. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of options to suit everyone. Everything was fresh and tasty, and it set me up perfectly for the day ahead. Overall, this Premier Inn exceeded my expectations. It combines a brilliant location with excellent service and great value for money.
