"Disappointing visit to premier inn guernsey"
Disappointing Stay at Premier Inn Guernsey We recently stayed at the Premier Inn in Guernsey and unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite meet expectations. While the hotel itself is what you’d typically expect from a large chain — clean, basic, and functional — the overall stay was let down by a few key areas. Some of the staff we encountered were noticeably unfriendly, which made the atmosphere feel less welcoming than it should have been. Customer service is usually a strong point for Premier Inn, so this was a real disappointment. Breakfast was particularly poor. The selection was limited, and several of the cooked items were cold and looked like they’d been sitting out for quite some time. For a hotel that advertises a hearty breakfast as part of the experience, this really missed the mark. Overall, it was an underwhelming stay — not terrible, but certainly not up to the standard we’ve come to expect from Premier Inn.
"Amazing"
The staff at this premier inn are second to none, the ladies in the bar and restaurant are so helpful and very lovely especially the one with long dark hair they can’t do enough for you, the rest of the staff are very helpful too would recommend staying here any day
"A Wonderful Stay – Best Premier Inn Experience in Years"
I was initially hesitant to book this Premier Inn due to some of the lower reviews, but I’ve always appreciated the familiarity and convenience of the brand. As someone with mobility challenges, I was also concerned about the steep climbs often mentioned in reviews of other hotels in St Peter Port, so this location seemed like a sensible choice – and I’m so glad I went for it. Having stayed in many Premier Inns across the UK, I can honestly say this has been the best one I’ve experienced in recent years. Though I hadn’t planned to dine in, I ended up having dinner at the hotel each night and also enjoyed breakfast on several mornings. The food was consistently good, the atmosphere relaxed, and the service absolutely fantastic. A special mention to Sarah, Radha, and Hannah, as well as the other restaurant and reception staff whose names I didn’t catch – they were all friendly, helpful, and genuinely lovely throughout my stay. I opted for a Premier Plus room, which was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for my needs. The hotel is also conveniently located just a few minutes from a bus stop and a Waitrose, which made getting around and picking up essentials very easy. Overall, a really positive experience and I’d happily stay here again.
"My solo 3 night stay in Guernsey St Peter Port"
Staff were very helpful in getting me a ground floor room so that I could safely stow my bicycle overnight. Room very comfortable and spacious. At busy times the staff kept calm and were more than helpful. Hannah and Sarah were almost rushed off their feet at times in the restaurant but smiled and chatted to guests, keeping order well in terms of serving in turn. The hotel is right on bus routes and just 15 mins walk to the Port. There is a huge Waitrose just across the road.
"Average stay at a hotel chain we like"
Our visit was somewhat spoiled by the poor quality of the cold breakfast food. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful
