      "Great stay"
Great hotel, comfy beds, clean room and lovely staff. Air con which is a plus in this heat. Bookings only for dinner which is expected in any restaurant. Breakfast great value.
"No evening meal and no way to get food"
When we arrived at this hotel today we were advised that the restaurant opened at 5pm - we had no food from early morning because of travelling and we were looking forward to having our tea - but when we came down for our tea we were then advised that because they had a large crowd in they had no room for us - and we were denied our evening meal - we will never be back - the poorest service we have ever had
      "The Workies Inn."
Very disappointed, standard of room was unclean, had to wipe feet on way out, standard of food main & breakfast was look warm, seems to be a hostile for contract workers, not what I expected for price paid for overnight stay, would not recommend.
      "Terrible"
I told the manager when I left the hotel and her reply was you should have told us. My reply was, it is her responsibility to know the condition of the rooms before they are allocated. . My children found the pint glass under the bed from a previous customer! Was the room cleaned? Who knows!!! I will let the pictures of the room speak for themselves. I know complaining to the premier inn won’t get you anywhere after hearing from other people on line. Very disappointing. Needless to say we won’t be back.
"Fawlty Towers is alive and kicking in Edinburgh"
Absolute joke of a hotel! The hotel has information about who has booked dinner (I had pre paid on what is a meal package ) and then don’t have enough staff on duty to serve food I went into dinner on the second night of a two night stay at 7/15.I was told that despite the restaurant not being full I would have to wait for 90 minutes . Rather than wait 90 minutes for a table for one (date 9th July) I was told I could order the meal as a takeaway straight away and then eat it at a table outside of the main restaurant rather than at one of the empty tables in the restaurant. !! I have no idea how many milliseconds this may have saved in terms of staff actually bringing it to the table on crockery but eating a meal in polystyrene containers in a hotel is a new one on me. The WiFi is pathetic too. At a cost of £200 a night it’s not particularly cheap either. I watched numerous customers come in and leave bemused that a hotel that offers dinner is unable to serve it !!!’
