    "Pathetic customer service"
The room was good. But the customer service was bad. Used towels were there in the bathroom in bathtub and also there were no new towels. And I needed to go downstairs to report it, waited a long time in the reception, and finally i did say about the used towels and asked them for new towels. And she went and took new towels which was handed over in the reception. And I went room with those towels in my hand all the way. Such a pathetic service. Do you guys think I was staying there for free of cost? I've paid nearly 200 gbp and you guys didn't have minimum common sense.
"Good choice to get to airport"
I had no issues at all with this hotel—everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the stay was as expected. It’s very close to the airport: about £20 by cab, or you can walk about 5 minutes to a bus stop and take public transport if you prefer. There’s also plenty of parking on-site (around £7 per night). One important thing to note is the location: there is absolutely nothing around the hotel. The closest options are a McDonald’s and a fully stocked gas station about a 15-minute walk away, which requires crossing some busy roadways. Thankfully, the hotel does have an on-site restaurant, and prices seemed fair, but you do need to book a time slot—even for walk-up / take-out service. Based on what I paid for the night (around £50), I give it 5 stars. I knew what I was getting into, and it delivered exactly that: a clean, convenient airport hotel. That said, now that I’ve learned how many buses run from downtown Edinburgh to the airport in about 30 minutes (and they leave every 30 minutes at least, even overnight or early morning), I don’t think staying out here is strictly necessary unless you want to be right by the airport. For Canadian and American travelers, just a reminder that rooms do not come with mini-fridges, which may be different from what you’re used to. The only issue was that despite what seemed to be a working thermostat, the temperature did not rise when I adjusted. Overall, a reliable, budget-friendly airport hotel if proximity to the airport is your top priority.
    "Not great"
The check in kiosk did not work. Our room smelled of smoke and the hotel was unable to change our room. They suggested talking to staff in the morning about a discount due to the smoke but when we left the next morning we could not find any staff at the desk or lobby to talk to. Also had to pay extra for parking.
    "I cannot fault this place."
Not far from the airport. Quick and easy parking & payment for your car. Quick & easy check in process. The staff are friendly & helpful. They always seem so busy! It must be a popular location. The food is very good. Excellent all round for me.
"Affordable option close to airport and make sure to make dinner reservations."
This is one of the few affordable hotel options near the hotel. You still need to take a cab or Uber (cheaper to Uber), but the total cost with transportation is still significantly cheaper than the airport hotels. We bought the Meal Deal, BUT MAKE SURE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR DINNER in addition. We thought prepaying for the meal would guarantee us a spot, but it did not. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast options were plentiful.
