"Fabulous visit"
We Stayed for 3 nights in 2 seperate family rooms, as 7 family members in total. The rooms were lovely, clean, spacious, modern and had all the facilities you needed. Plenty of towels. Extra pillows were used for comfort. Even though our rooms were both near the elevators, it was still quiet.... Breakfast was £8.99 really good value. There was a fully cooked English breakfast, bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns, baked beans, as well as yoghurts, fresh fruit, toast, croissants, cereals, juices, tea and coffee etc... what more can you ask for! brilliant.... Praise should be given to Daniel who was dealing with all the customes at the bar, it was a busy evening and Daniel was very customer focused... we enquired about the cocktails and he knew there were two lots of cocktails not just what was on the main menu!, and he got the book out to show us.... so we could choose which cocktails we wanted... Very polite and friendly. So thankyou Daniel...... Trentham Gardens are full of fauna and wildlife, esp the monkeys, such a treat to visit, beautiful. The shopping area is wonderful, a gift for everyone can be found!! In easy reach of Alton Towers, which always goes down well with the grandchildren, thrill of the rollercoasters, they love. We ate in the restaurant one evening, then frankie and bennys the next and Willow restaurant last.. gorgeous. All in all, a wonderful stay was had by all the family and we definatley will be staying there again and look forward to it. Thankyou Premier Inn and Trentham
"Trentham Gardens"
Great hotel, lovely room excellent parking and great location but restaurant staff seemed too busy. Good happy hour deal which was ⭐️ Overall first class
"Nice hotel, disappointing room."
Them location is excellent so close to Trentham shopping village and gardens. We arrived for a two night. Stay, plenty of parking and didn’t move the car again until we left. Check in was smooth, quick, efficient and friendly. We’d booked a Premier Plus room at the additional cost. How disappointed were we on entering the room to discover that rather than overlooking the front bowling green and over to the gardens we had a lovely view of the….dual carriageway with cars whizzing up and down. A remark I heard from other people too. The room was really dark and at 2 pm on a sunny day the lights were needed. The decor in the room is lovely and as it’s newly refurbished in good condition. Other than the coffee machine and the air con. It’s just an updated ordinary room. The air con hums if you leave it on all night and if instead you open the window you have the road. Very disappointing. At dinner I informed them that I had an allergy to onions. On the first night they were very good and went to check the ingredients on my main course. The restaurant was packed and noisy, we were seated behind a wall and with hindsight I should have refused the table it was not a good place.in addition to that they had run out of sour cream, ice cream and something else. On the second night I was handed the allergy information, unfortunately as onions are not a known allergy it is neither use nor ornament. I was told the manager said I had to have it to cover them. Management please instruct the staff that if an allergy isn’t one of the 14 registered allergy then it doesn’t cover you as it does not indicate your allergen, staff have to read the packaging for example I thought I’d have pizza as Italian pizza sauce does not include onions, yours does and fortunately the server read the ingredients and came back to tell me so all was ok. However I must say the food at dinner and breakfast was excellent, well cooked and hot. Would we stay again, yes but not in a Premier Plus room.
"Welcoming and helpful staff. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. "
Had a good stay and was impressed by the rooms. Breakfast was good and the staff were fantastic. They really make you feel welcome and certainly make your stay special. Leanne and Kirsty are so customer focused they are a credit to the hotel. Kirsty is very knowledgeable of the area and was able to explain about Trentham Gardens and all the wildlife. There are herds of deer and if you are really lucky you may catch sight of a beaver in its natural environment. It's fascinating and I must bring my camera next time just in case I catch a glimpse. I look forward to my next stay and seeing that beaver.
"the accommodation and check-in experience were positive, the breakfast did not meet expectations given the price"
Check-in was smooth and welcoming; the staff member at reception made us feel at ease and handled the process efficiently. Our room, located on the second floor, was clean, well-maintained, and in good condition. I appreciated the option of requesting extra pillows, and overall, the bed was comfortable. The bath towels were of good size and quality, although only one hand towel was provided. We had paid nearly £18 for a continental breakfast for two people, but unfortunately, this was disappointing. We arrived for breakfast at 8:45 a.m. (service runs from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.), and while the setup allowed for self-service, the selection was very limited. The menu advertised a variety of yoghurts, but only Greek yoghurt was available. For fruit, the options listed were bananas, clementines, and apples; however, only apples were provided. There were no Danish pastries available, and the fruit salad appeared old and soggy. When I enquired about the pastries and fruit, I received a curt response: "No, that’s all we have. We are waiting for a delivery." Overall, while the accommodation and check-in experience were positive, the breakfast did not meet expectations given the price.
