"Great staff, modern hotel"
Great hotel, clean and modern. Ample parking. Bar was reasonably priced for drinks. We had planned on going into Pickering at night for dinner, however the terrible rain put us off as taxi was showing a long wait. Spoke to Andrew and he managed to book us a table in the restaurant. Restaurant was really busy with reservations only. Wasn’t expecting much, however, we were pleasantly surprised as the food was delicious! £26.99 for 2 courses with drink and breakfast! Rooms were modern but a little on the warm side but very quiet and we were on the ground floor. Must say that both Andrew and his colleague, Felix were amazing, both went above and beyond. Hotel bar and restaurant are clearly both under staffed however these two ran it between themselves and didn’t seem to stop all the time we were there. Really hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. Would stay again at this hotel.
"noisy air con that could not be stopped"
room clean and well presented, staff friendly and helpful food very good, but the noise of the air con in my room was bad and worse thing is I could'nt turn off, staff tried to help but they could not shut it down remotely, in the end the only option was to remove key card from its holder and shut everything in the room down so not ideal . Get that sorted and I would 5/5 for my stay
"An excellent stay"
Room was a premier plus. It was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Food was nice.staff worked very hard covering reception, bar and restaurant but were helpful, professional and friendly. Nice to be able park for free in a good car park.
"brilliant stay"
Myself and my husband stayed at the premier to celebrate my birthday on the 3rd of september. the room was amazing and very comfortable . the staff were amazing and the book in was fab thanks to the fella who booked us in and was serving us drinks from the bar all the night . the catering staff wating on staff were great too. we had scampi and chips and we got fresh fruit which was just as good as there was so much of it really good value. a huge well done to everyone and we will return.
"Holiday"
Staff were friendly on check in, staff explained that we had to put in details for car park into the machine,as it is not owned by Premier Inn.Very comfortable stay and looks reasonably new clean and tidy and only 10 minute walk into Pickering.Both breakfast and evening meals were enjoyable. Thank you to Andrew and Helen for making our stay so pleasurable.

Enjoy a slice of paradise at our Premier Inn Pickering hotel, we’re just three miles or a five-minute drive from the borders of North York Moors National Park and North Riding Forest Park, perfect for peaceful strolls and weekend hiking trips. We’re just over a mile from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (Pickering) Station, a refurbished steam railway that goes directly into the heart of the National Park with scenic views and a classically British experience. There’s plenty of other things to do nearby too, we’re very close to Pickering Castle, and Flamingo Land Theme Park and the Eden Camp WW2 Museum are only a short drive away. Our hotel also great links to other towns in Yorkshire like Thirsk, which is close to our other hotels in North Yorkshire.
