"Good for overnight stays"
Nice hotel in keeping with our experience of Premier Inns elsewhere but the room did not cater for long stays as there was no drawer spece for clothes. The EV Charger was not available and is unlikely to be so as nobody had paid the maintenance charge.
"Food"
I would say experience, having stayed here Saturday night was very disappointing,thought we'd stay & have food & drinks rather than driving back into pickering but wasn't able to accommodate us as no staff but if you had reserved a table that was OK... nothing close by to get food so we had to go back into pickering to find food without drinks as was driving My email was supplied so why wasn't I informed that a reservation was required prior, won't be back
"Good for a weekend stay"
This was my second stay here. It is a quiet, comfortable Premier Inn. It is on bus routes to York, Scarborough, Malton and Helmsley and there is a bus stop right outside. It is a 10-15 minute walk into Pickering itself and there is a hand Co-op supermarket around 5 minutes' walk away. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the room was comfortable.
"Great experience"
Very good experience at this premier inn. Room very clean, well organised and comfy bed. Bathroom was also well cleaned with nice white towels. We did the meal deal which was excellent value for money as was happy hour at the bar. Good location as we visited North Yorkshire moors railway.
"Great Stay"
Although the hotel was running under staffed all team members were so friendly & helpful as they juggled reception, bar & restaurant. Well done to all. Our room was clean with the facilities one expects from a Premier Inn. Fresh towels were given & our room refreshed on request. Plenty of parking. Bit further from the town than expected though but taxis were easy to get.

Enjoy a slice of paradise at our Premier Inn Pickering hotel, we’re just three miles or a five-minute drive from the borders of North York Moors National Park and North Riding Forest Park, perfect for peaceful strolls and weekend hiking trips. We’re just over a mile from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (Pickering) Station, a refurbished steam railway that goes directly into the heart of the National Park with scenic views and a classically British experience. There’s plenty of other things to do nearby too, we’re very close to Pickering Castle, and Flamingo Land Theme Park and the Eden Camp WW2 Museum are only a short drive away. Our hotel also great links to other towns in Yorkshire like Thirsk, which is close to our other hotels in North Yorkshire.

Set yourself up for a great day exploring the moors with a delicious meal at our in-house Thyme restaurant and, after an exciting day strolling through some of the most scenic sights in North Yorkshire look forward to relaxing sleep on one of our super-comfy beds.
