"There's a first for everything"
Booked for 2 adults and 3 children,was ment to get 2 rooms joined instead I got a ground floor room and eventually a room up stairs far away from the rest of my family with beds not made up
"Thankyou to all staff for a comfortable stay even though the hotel was full given events held in the town"
Staff were very busy to ensure all guests had a comfortable stay at the hotel. It was acknowledged however that at breakfast some items such as fruit salad were missing from the menu
"No food for the kids at the inn"
Booked this hotel to attend a relatives wedding at a nearby venue. We booked due to location and the fact we had young kids and knew in general you don’t have no issues getting food after a long travel. However we found this not to be the case. We had to check ourselves in using the self check in machine as there wasn’t a sign of staff anywhere. We then noticed a printed label on the checking desk informing us that due to staffing issues they were at reduced capacity for the onsite restaurant. We knew this meant no food for us. Once we found a member of staff we asked about the possibility of getting food for us and the kids but was simply given a print out of nearby takeaways that delivered, great!! So after a long drive we had to then eat a greasy kebab all crammed in our room. Not what we expected after paying nearly £200 for a night. The take away driver informed us this was a regular occurrence I am just grateful we managed to stay at the venue on the night of the wedding. Deeply appalled at the cost and lack of service, sort it out premier inn
"Brilliant Premier Inn"
Perfect location fom town centre. Lovely and quiet and lots of free parking which was great. Rooms fantastic and spotlessly clean and staff were brilliant and a very good breakfast to top it off. Thankyou we will return in the near future.

Had a wonderful stay. However this was spoilt by the buffet breakfast. Over the 3 days various items were missing from the breakfast menu, this was put down to a change in the delivery service and items not being delivered on time. If you pay for breakfast you expect it. The hotel is also understaffed.

Enjoy a slice of paradise at our Premier Inn Pickering hotel, we’re just three miles or a five-minute drive from the borders of North York Moors National Park and North Riding Forest Park, perfect for peaceful strolls and weekend hiking trips. We’re just over a mile from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (Pickering) Station, a refurbished steam railway that goes directly into the heart of the National Park with scenic views and a classically British experience. There’s plenty of other things to do nearby too, we’re very close to Pickering Castle, and Flamingo Land Theme Park and the Eden Camp WW2 Museum are only a short drive away. Our hotel also great links to other towns in Yorkshire like Thirsk, which is close to our other hotels in North Yorkshire.

Set yourself up for a great day exploring the moors with a delicious meal at our in-house Thyme restaurant and, after an exciting day strolling through some of the most scenic sights in North Yorkshire look forward to relaxing sleep on one of our super-comfy beds.
