"A great stay"
A great location, lovely team of staff who were very helpful, The breakfast was great, lots of options, The dinner in the restaurant was nice too. The rooms are super quiet and the bed comfortable. The room didn't have a fridge or a walk in shower - had to step up into the bath.
"Great Value Hotel with Superb location"
Firstly, I really appreciated the offer of a full refund which they didn't have to do. Was taking my 2 daughters to see Coldplay which due to tube strike was moved last minute from Sunday to Saturday. They had no availability Saturday so we decided to stay Friday night, spend the day sightseeing then go to the concert and do the drive back to Manchester straight after. Spoke with other concert goers whose hotels refused and they simply lost the money, despite it being no fault of theirs. I recommended this hotel to all. That's how you keep customers. Despite having checked out, they also allowed us to use the bar toilets to freshen up and change after our day in London by giving us a temporary key card. Check in automatic, quick and easy but with a friendly guy on hand to help out. Room was spotless and modern as was bathroom. Breakfast was superb with high quality ingredients (sausages were delicious). Bar was lovely and all staff very friendly and helpful. Great value as I shared a room with my 2 girls and worked out around £55 each including breakfast, for central London. Location is brilliant. Tube and station right in front of hotel so could get anywhere quick and easily. No parking but got a private space on just park less than a 1 minute walk away. Next time we are in London. I will simply not look but just book this hotel again.
"Great room - Poor reception experience!"
The room was great - it was very comfortable, clean, and exactly what we were expecting on arrival. We booked a Premier Plus room, and we had the added bonus of a city view which, aside from the inevitable views of nearby buildings, was quite nice (could see the London Eye.) Unfortunately we also had some issues when checking in: on arrival there was a short queue to the front desk with a number of people making complaints. After a wait, another member of staff instructed us to use the self check-in machine, however these were not accepting our booking. We then rejoined the queue, only having lost our place now to another family checking-in. We waited longer than we've ever had to wait at a Premier Inn, and on reaching the desk there was no apology for the wait and the member of staff was in fact brash with us (we understand that she had been dealing with complaints and would have been stressed, but the rude tone we received wasn't appropriate.) On receiving our key, we made our way to the room - only to find that we had been assigned a standard room and not the Plus room that we had booked and paid for. Thankfully when we returned to reception to amend this, there was no longer a queue, and the member of staff was able to correct this quickly. An additional note: the reception area was very smokey whenever we walked through due to people smoking directly outside the doors. There are 2 sets of automatic doors, however one of them was left open, thus allowing the smoke to come straight into the building. Despite our negative experience at reception, we would stay at this location again as the room really was lovely - we would just take the reception issues with a pinch of salt!
"Great Stay"
A great base, close to the tube and Paddington Station. Even though there is a busy road, the room was so quiet on the 13th floor. It was very clean and good value for money. With Premier Inn you know what you are going to get. Staff very friendly on reception, and the luggage hold invaluable when you check out and your train is later in the day.
"Loves the peace and quiet of the 19th floor"
We spend at least a few nights ever so many months and we always go premier plus. This time we was given the 19th floor and it was so peaceful which was good as this visit wasn't for please like the rest. This was for a private family funeral and burying ashes so the quiet was well needed. We will try and get the same room again it was a lovely break considering the circumstances.
