"Good but narrow corridors"
2 adults, 2 Children under 4 in family room. Room was clean and modern. Bedding was nice. Good bathtub/shower. Unfortunately the hallways were very narrow and when we arrived with a sleeping child in a pram we were blocked by the housekeeping carts. The housekeeper gestured to us to let her push the parm past the cart, but it wouldn’t fit. She pushed it even harder, jolting our child awake! Very disappointing - she should have just moved the cleaning trolley into an open room.
"A great location, view and comfort."
Very comfortable, affordable, close to Edgware Road and Paddington Station. Highly recommend the location especially Paddington Basin feels very relaxing after a whole day of tiredness.
"Disappointed... Double instead of King Size"
This review relates to the disappointment of discovering a double bed in a premier inn plus room instead of a kingsize. The other aspects of the room and hotel can't really be faulted and hence an average rating. So being a regular stayer at Premier Inn and discovering the plus room and bigger bed, that we had had on all previous stays/ bookings we proceeded to book a plus room at this location. I thought I'd still check and read the FAQ's regarding differences for this hotel. It reads "...As well as a super comfy kingsize bed, enjoy extra...". Brilliant I think a nice big bed to welcome us. Imagine our disappointment when entry to the room reveals a double sized bed. We have a king size bed at home so we know what we're talking about and we were not looking at a king size bed. It was questioned at reception who said they're Queen sized. Errr the website says King size, you're now saying Queen size and I'm looking and having to sleep on a double - Humph!!!!! All in all disappointing and uncomfortable and somewhat a bit of a spoiler for our stay in the smoke.
"Affordable and excellent hotel."
Excellent hotel with very easy access to Paddington Station. Excellent staff who go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic stay. Lovely breakfast, and great value as kids eat free with paying adults. The hotel is located in a lovely area.
"Good but spoilt by breakfast."
The bed was very comfortable as you'd expect from a premier inn. Unfortunately there was a strange noise coming from the reception around 4am for about an hour which kept us awake. Then we had the worst breakfast we've ever had in a premier inn. Bacon looked like it had been steamed, the mushrooms and tomatoes were raw and the hash brown were dry and cold. All staff were very friendly as always.
