"Disappointing stay at Paddington Basin Premier Inn"
We always book Premier Inn when we have a few nights away, unfortunately this time the hotel was awful. The carpet in our bedroom was dirty and the paint in the bathroom was peeling off the walls. There were stains on the chair and stool in the room. We selected continental breakfast and have always been impressed with the presentation and selection of food available. At Paddington Basin Premier Inn it was awful. After the first breakfast we cancelled the subsequent breakfasts due to such poor quality. There was poor water pressure in the shower and the smell of stagnant water coming up from the sink.
"A very good place with bad connectivity"
A very good place. Kind people and good breakfast. Unfortunately, cell phone connectivity does not works and they have one of the worst WiFi service I've found
"Great four day stay at Premier Inn - Paddington Basin"
This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel out of our nine trips to London. We wish we would have found this location sooner! The desk staff is always friendly and accommodating. They recently helped us get our favorite room for the third time! The floor we stay on, the 17th, is always quiet. Our room has always been well furnished and clean. We would highly recommend this hotel!
"They steal items left behind"
Unfortunately, i left a pair of expensive hair straighteners in the room. I realised this the same day and emailed the hotel directly to make them aware and arrange a collection. After 3 emails, and no reply, i called the hotel repeatedly. No answer at all times of day. As i was passing through London a week later, i had no choice but to visit the hotel to enquire and they searched their lost property and told me they did not have them. I can only assume some dishonesty has occurred here, which is very sad, and someone has benefited from my negligence. Additionally, the hotel had no reasonable explanation for the appalling customer service. I have accepted the loss, but felt potential stayers should be made aware. This hotel does not care once you have stayed, and make sure you leave nothing behind as its the last you will see of it. Room was comfortable and clean. A few mins walk from Paddington so convenient for travel. Shame they are thieves.
"Fire alarm protocol"
Having recently stayed at London Paddington Premier Inn. I was quite surprised by one thing. The fire alarm went off around 11pm on the Tuesday night. Having heard the alarm going off we immediately jumped out of bed and started to go down the stairs to the front of the building (well you could have used the elevator if you wanted to they were all still working omg). Half way down the stairs the manager came up stating there was no fire and to go back to bed even though the alarms were still sounding. I could not believe his response. ( I still went outside to the front of the building). This I can’t imagine being their protocol. Would definitely not stay again. SHOCKING
