"Gone down"
Stayed here loads of times before But this time wow hotel really gone down Room smelt of stale smoke and tobacco even though supposed to be no smoking. Ye right. Stunk. Always for bottles of water before not anymore No fridge either anymore Windows don’t open so can’t get any fresh air in, no wonder rooms stink all time. Room wasn’t cleaned very well there was Coca Cola bottles (sweets) under bed left from last guest Not sure now if we go back. Plenty of others to try
"Positive feedback s"
Twin room, clean and adequate tho no chairs just beds but hey ho. Personally too warm as no opening window, however later found out (thanks to Emily in bar) reception can access remotely to knock temp down so slightly improved. Brilliant internal access to bar/dining where also breakfast served and good quality/range. Shout out to Emily in The Freeman bar and her colleagues, all lovely and excellent service. Will go again👍
"Best of Bridlington"
Excellent stay here the staff couldn't do enough for us the food is very good too and if you look for the special offers ( such as two double JJ gins for £10 ) good value too
"Great as always, we'll be back!!"
As always we enjoyed our stay at the Premier Inn Bridlington. clean and the staff were friendly A special shout out to Charlie in the Cookhouse she was so welcoming and efficient, she greeted us like old friends and accommodated our requests
"Don't pay extra for a sea view!"
We stayed for 2 nights in a Premier Plus room with a sea view. Our main motivation for paying for Premier Plus was that we could have a proper shower and not the ridiculous shower over the bath, which is available in the other rooms. The shower was good and was detachable rather than fixed, which is a relief. We weren't sure that any of the other things offered with Premier Plus were worth having. A lot of the little touches were quite nice (better mugs, coffee machine, fridge) but not essential for our stay. The vanity area had a stool which meant your face was cut in half horizontally in the mirror by the light! The chair was comfortable, but there was only one for two people. I did sleep well, but I think that was because I took my own pillow, instead of the rock hard or too soft options offered. Was it worth paying for a sea view? Definitely not! The hotel doesn't look directly on to the sea. One of our rooms had a sea view from both sides of the bed. The other, on the other side of the hotel, only had a sea view from one spot. Next time we will take our chance with the view! Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The meal deal is good. We paid for breakfast and dinner, so basically had half board. The service in the restaurant the first night was painfully slow, but we weren't in a hurry, and we were happy with the food when it came. It was a Sunday, and they seemed short staffed. The following night was much busier, but the service was much better too. Staff were very accommodating when it came to seating a wheelchair user, and were happy to move chairs to make it possible for them to sit at a table. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Since our last visit, two years ago, they have changed the car park system. You pay at a machine by the front door. Blue Badge holders also pay, but outside the hotel car park they can park free, provided they display their badge. This is good, because there aren't enough disabled spaces inside the car park for the number of disabled guests. The free WiFi is very slow, but as the WiFi was off on our second day we were glad we hadn't paid for an upgrade. I did not like the music in the downstairs public areas, and thought it was too loud. I did like the seating area, where you could wait for other members of your party, or just sit if you felt like it. All in all, a pleasant stay, and we hope to return.
