Torquay Seafront hotel

Yet again had another fantastic stay. The room was spotless and clean. We Was greeted by RACHEAL who went above and beyond to help me with my issue with my air con in the room. She always has a smile on her face and this is one of the reasons we always come back here! 5* service

everything from first entering the hotel to leaving was fantastic food cleaning waiting staff there was nothing we could fault about our stay here this is our fourth stay here and i would say the best so far just love going at easter time hopefully be going back next year again

I’ve stayed at several Premier Inns, and this one was the worst. It is looking so tired and needs some serious TLC. The room - the family room was smaller than the Exmouth family room. The bathroom door didn’t shut properly and the bathroom door had a huge chunk missing out of it at the bottom so you had to be careful with bare feet. The flooring in the room was dusty with a couple of dead insects, the ceiling had black mould on it, the toilet flush didn’t work very well. In the room, the carpet was very old and tired and dusty under the bed and around the edges. There was a stain on my daughter’s bed. There were scuff marks all over the walls. The window felt dirty when you run your hand over it. Overall, the room smelt, so we left the window open for both of our nights. Beefeater restaurant for breakfast - I’ve never seen a restaurant so dirty. Dirt all round the edges of the carpets, dirty and dusty wooden blinds, rotten and dirty windows. Tables were sticky and dirt all round the table number on the table top. The carpets were fulll of crumbs - perhaps their hoover was broken or old like everything else. When I went to select my plate for breakfast, I had to try several plates to find a clean one. Looking into the kitchen turned my stomach, with dirt all round the edges of things, fat splashed on the sides of the serving area as if it had ben there for a while. The selection of food felt like slim pickings with only berries and no other fresh fruit. Both times I went up to eat at the continental breakfast, there was hardly anything to choose from and basics hadn’t been replenished. It feels like there are not enough staff in this hotel to keep it running in the way it needs. I won’t be returning and it has made me think twice about ever returning to a Premier Inn.

Stayed in the newer block of the hotel. Clean room, comfy bed. Paid for one of the rooms with a sea view. Fridge in room useful. Large walk in shower. Short walk into town, bus stop outside hotel and a short walk to the railway station.

Rooms need a refurbishment & quite dirty; lift needs a good deep clean. Cleaners really noisy. Lovely Location & ideal for walk to town centre, coastal walk & great bus service to all areas around the Rivera... What has ruined my stay is the selfish family next door to me who slammed doors, let the child ruin riot in the room & knocked on the walls. This went on for hours at a time; I understand they are on holiday, but so am I; please respect other people who have also paid a lot to enjoy their stay...
