    Alternative parking is also available at Siddals Road car park (DE1 2PY), at £4.95 for 24 hours. This is a NCP open car park and payment can only be made via the app.

    "Amazing staff"
    We have stayed here this weekend for a family celebration. The staff at the hotel were absolutely fantastic! George who manned the bar and reception were amazing, him and Rylan went out of their way to help us in every way!
    "Trying"
    While this hotel has prime position, it lacks a car park. The closest was shut. Car park app took 45 minutes to fill in all the requirements. Long struggle to the hotel. The room 304 (wet room) is less than usable if you are in a wheelchair, the fittings and design is horrid. A tiny fold shower seat, a drip of a shower then the drain could not cope so flooding the room. Very slippery. The flush handle wrong side and only a giant could reach it. Two basins, both with the spray type mono taps that drench me and fail to wash hands. The larger of the two basins , I can not reach the tap because of decorative front, why ? Soap pump so far up the wall impossible to reach. Grab handles and fold down styles, brilliantly put but then too many and get in the way. Air con works in the room. Standard fittings all okay.

    Second time visiting and just as excellent! Staff all very friendly and accomodating. Food is great. Good spot for city centre. Lovely location. Highly recommend.

    Standard Premier Inn. Good location. Easy from the railway station, although there are frequent buses to the bus station next door to the hotel. If you approach the hotel from the river, its easy to miss the entrance, as you can only see it by looking back once you've passed it.
    "Overall decent short break ."
    Good position , car park details need to be clearer especially when you don't know Derby . Rylan on reception was excellent , changing our first room which smelt heavily of cigarette smoke .Rooms seemed to have become more minimalistic over the years we have been using Premier Inn . Breakfast was well presented , fresh and enjoyable . Unfortunately there was a problem with the WIFI during our stay . Overall an enjoyable stay .

If you’re getting around Derby using public transport, the nearest bus stop is only about a three-minute walk away along Morledge Road or if you’re flying into East Midlands Airport, we’re just a 20-minute drive away. Head back to our in-house Thyme restaurant for some mouth-watering meals and classic pub grub after fun days out in Derby, before enjoying a great night’s sleep on a super-comfy bed. Plus, up to two children can enjoy a free breakfast when an adult orders a Premier Inn Breakfast or Meal Deal.
