Please register your vehicle via the tablet in the hotel reception to receive the discount. Please note that access to the car park is closed between 01:30-06:00 Monday to Friday and 3:30-06:00 Saturday and Sunday.

    Alternative parking is also available at Siddals Road car park (DE1 2PY), at £4.95 for 24 hours. This is a NCP open car park and payment can only be made via the app.

    "Great location if you’re visiting Derby and the surrounding area"
    Great location on the river and a very short walk to the shops and a stupendous amount of nightlife. It’s a Premier Inn so you pretty much know what you’re going to get and this one did not disappoint. It was clean, comfortable and affordable. There was a line to check in on a Saturday evening but the online check in helped move things along. They have a restaurant in the hotel that looked great but I didn’t get a chance to try it.

    Best premier inn in Derby to stay at. Beautiful views. Amazing staff. Banging breakfast and a room with a comfortable bed.

    We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. There is no parking at the hotel so we parked at Siddals Lane- about a 10 minute walk given the road crossings involved. Fortunately it was a sunny day. On entering the hotel we saw 2 check in screens. We didn't see a human receptionist. One of the screens was working so we checked in and got a room card. We wanted 2 cards and managed to get another one later. Cards were needed to access the lift lobby and the lift itself. Both lifts were in action when we checked in but the next day only one was available for guests. The hotel has the appearance and atmosphere of a converted office block. Our room was on the second floor. It was a reasonable size with a small window which didn't let in much light as it looked out onto a concrete paved internal courtyard. No Riverside views in this room. The window was locked so we couldn't open it. It was a standard PI room in terms of facilities. The shower was not very powerful and there were no glasses in the bathroom We did not eat or drink in the hotel. I doubt we would return.

    Excellent value for money. Not the Ritz, but you get what you pay for, and more. Clean, comfortable, practical and central. We are repeat visitors to this hotel, and we plan to continue choosing it for our future stays.

    You’ll have the best places to visit in Derby on your doorstep when you stay at our Premier Inn Derby City Centre (Riverlights) hotel. We're right in the heart of the city centre, meaning you can walk to pretty much every main tourist attraction in this part of town. Derby Theatre and Derbion shopping centre are both under a 10-minute walk away, or why not relax on the riverbank at the Derby River Gardens nearby? If you’re getting around Derby using public transport, the nearest bus stop is only about a three-minute walk away along Morledge Road or if you’re flying into East Midlands Airport, we’re just a 20-minute drive away. Head back to our in-house Thyme restaurant for some mouth-watering meals and classic pub grub after fun days out in Derby, before enjoying a great night’s sleep on a super-comfy bed. Plus, up to two children can enjoy a free breakfast when an adult orders a Premier Inn Breakfast or Meal Deal.
