Newquay (Quintrell Downs) hotel

what an experience. we have just got back from a family of 4 holiday in newquay. it was a great location for where we wanted. they had beachs local. it was quiet at night and parking which was free. the room was spacious for a family. think we struck lucky as we had one of the biggest rooms. we just had breakfast that we paid extra for but it was good for the proce you pay. staff where lovely and friendly. advise at bisy periods do book your meals for the time you want. overall can not be negative for the price. thank you 😊

The hotel is in a great spot for getting into Newquay and easy access to the A30. The staff were really friendly, the rooms are a little bit dated but clean and tidy and there is plenty of parking. Big shout out to the whole team!

We have stayed at this Premier Inn a number of times mainly due to it’s location being near Newquay but without the hassle of being in the centre of Newquay. Check in When we arrived a lovely lady was sat at reception she had just started work there and was very apologetic that she couldn’t check us in as she didn’t have the logins for the systems I hope she’s doing well in her new job and it was no issue for us to wait a few moments for another staff member to help. Room This time we booked a family room consisting of 1 main bed, one single bed and a sofa bed, the room was clean and functional and looked in good condition. Bathroom also clean and in good overall condition. Restaurant Probably the biggest let down was the restaurant sadly the food was very basic and not particularly well cooked, the table was dirty and wasn’t cleaned before we was sat down, for the cost it wasn’t good enough, personally I’d walk over the road to the pub on the opposite side of roundabout or up to the two clomes in future both offer better quality. Other wise a good base of the 1 night we stayed

I visited last weekend and it was amazing the workers were so lovely and engaging the beds were so comfy best bed I’ve ever stayed in room was immaculate no problems at all amazing location with a pub right next to it with great food at great prices car park is free however it can get busy during peak times mainly because the pub links with it ! I didn’t go during peak times but Saturday night was a bit more busier but still had spaces !!! Super quite location to even though it’s by a road you don’t hear anything at all one thing though is the signal is soo bad and the free WiFi is bad to but tbh I was only in need of WiFi in evenings for tv but found other things to do overall 5 stars !!

We recently stayed at the premier inn, and booked to have breakfast for both days that we stayed. The first morning of breakfast, we had pre-notified the reception of the hotel on the timings that we were expecting to go down for breakfast. Upon arriving to breakfast, we were approached by a member of staff in the Treffry Tavern, she abruptly asked whether we had booked, we informed her that we hadn’t but had notified the reception staff of the hotel and gave our room numbers. The lady grunted and said she would have to see if there is a table available. Whilst walking through, the restaurant only had a couple of tables being used, and wasn’t busy although they did have one large table in for breakfast. We expressed that we hadn’t been here for breakfast before and expected to be told where things were to only be informed that they would be back to get our hot food order. The unlimited continental breakfast was very sparse, and the pastries were dry. There was no milk out for tea or coffee. We received our all day breakfast, the scrambled egg was swimming in water, which saturated all of the plate and other food on the plate. Overall the breakfast was very tasteless, and therefore cancelled the second days breakfast as we did not want to have the same bad experience twice. I would not recommend at all, if I could rate a 0 star, I would.
