Northwich South hotel

Excellent service, clean and tidy, very helpful staff, good food, comfortable bed.

Clean room, all necessary amenities but an excellent shower.

We had a ground floor room and it was noisy at night with traffic noise and noise in the corridor outside our room at 2:30am. We did have a pleasant stay though, we would stay here again as the staff were really lovely and the food was absolutely delicious. Our room was comfortable and clean.

Location was easy to find. The hotel and my room was clean & tidy. My room was cleaned by Oriann; thank you. Did not have dinner, but breakfast was very good with lots of options.

Arrived after dark so missed signs and drove past at least once, although the road system in Northwich is a bit complicated. Eventually I found the Premier Inn behind The Woodpecker pub/restaurant. Reception staff welcomed me warmly. My room was the usual spacious Premier room with plenty of hanging space, mirrors with bright lighting, hairdryer etc. Good bathroom too, with two types of shower head. As always, the bed was very comfy. Once I had settled in I enjoyed a big glass of delicious Shiraz in the pub, much needed after a trying journey. In the mornings I had Continental Breakfast and was pleased to get much the same foods as I eat at home - granola, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, margarine, peanut butter and jam. When the wholemeal bread ran out on my first morning, a nice young waitress quickly brought out more. The machine coffee was OK. I had been worried about traffic noise as the hotel is close to a busy road junction, but it was quiet at night. Importantly for me, I was able to charge up my electric car just a mile away at a Tesco Express. I also appreciated that the hotel does not allow pets, so no wet-nosed dogs marauding about.
