"Won't be rushing for a return visit"
We had premier room with sea view for 4 nights. Room was good and sea view was lovely to have but obviously paid extra for that. We paid in advance for meal deals with the attached Beefeater which includes dinner and breakfast. Definitely got the impression you are second class diners if you have the meal deal so avoid unless no other option.
"Unhappy"
I returned as we had a really good experience 2 years ago. I am disabled so need an accessible room, so an accessible room was asked for. The room was not that way. Thankfully I did not need my wheelchair as I would not have been able to get around the room as there was no room to move I was nearly able to use my walker. The bathroom had a narrow bath with a shower and curtain, no anti slip mats. I felt very unsafe.
"Amazing stay"
Highly recommend staying at this premier inn we loved our stay perfect location for the beach, Great Yarmouth pleasure beach staff are brilliant
"Lovely stay with a beautiful sea view!"
Stayed at Premier Inn Great Yarmouth Seafront for the last weekend in August. We stayed for 4 nights. The staff were welcoming and helpful during our stay when we needed things. We booked a premier plus room but we had the unexpected surprise of having a beautiful seaview room which was really nice. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. One of the best premier inns that we have stayed in, and we’ve stayed in quite a few! Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend. We also ate at the beefeater downstairs on one evening. We had very negative experiences with beefeaters at Premier Inns in the past so didn’t want to eat there at all but on this occasion we were so tired so we decided just to go there for dinner. It was actually surprisingly really nice. The food was excellent and our waitress was lovely and very accommodating. She was rushed off her feet bless her, but still managed to go above and beyond for us. All in all a very pleasant experience and we recommend trying a meal there too!
"Never Again"
My daughter took me away for my first break in a long time, I'm disabled in a wheelchair and suffer from depression. She booked an accessible room for us,what a joke. We headed for the accessible rooms. The room door had nothing to keep the door open,a hook or a door wedge,so she had to hold the door with her foot whilst manoeuvring me through. The doors in the corridors also had the same issue. The bed, whilst very comfortable was very low to the floor (a lot of fun for me, not). While the bathroom was very accessible through a wide doorway the sliding door was really heavy and didn't open easily on its runners (you need to be a bodybuilder to open it) The bathroom was very cheaply fitted out,it felt like like the fixtures were moving.Because of this I didn't feel confident enough to bathe or shower. The following morning we decided to try breakfast, what a mistake. We didn't make a booking , but the server managed to accommodate us quite quickly. My daughter brought me a cup of and some sort of fruit drink , the tea was ok.The dining room was very understaffed. My daughter brought me a bowl of cornflakes , again passable , but not sure whose brand they were? After this she brought me a small breakfast 1 sausage, bacon and hash brown and what was supposed to be scrambled eggs , more chunks of egg white than anything else. Overall very disappointing and to finish it off a child on the next table proceeded to throw his cereal all over the floor , mother and grandmother totally ignoring this. A poor member of staff got on her hands and knees to try and clean the mess up with a dustpan and brush, only to be told by a very abrupt supervisor to leave it and get on with something else. I loved Yarmouth, the people and places, Zoo, Model Village, lovely cafes were amazing. This was a special trip for me , the last time I was here my dad brought me ,he died of lung cancer a few weeks later I was 9 years old,I am now 62. I have only ever stayed in premier inn in Nottingham when going go gigs a few years ago and found it to be amazing.
