Torquay Seafront hotel

An amazing location, just across the road from the beach. Our family room was huge with a view of the sea. Lovely and clean with friendly staff. Very quiet at night considering the hotel was full.

Extremely dated Extremely dirty grubby and generally unclean throughout don’t expect to use your mobile phone or devices within the hotel as most of the time there is little on no signal/Wi-Fi be prepared to find mould and dirt in your room if you complain about any of the above be prepared for unhelpful rude and nonchalant staff The only positive for this hotel is it’s location

Staff are friendly , the beds very comfortable. Food only had breakfast was warm but plenty to choose. The carpet in breakfast room was the most disgusting dusty carpey, around the tills dirty carpets for a premier inn. I feel there are areas need updating . Bathroom in our room had a aweful smell the 2 nights we stayed. Nothing was done as we did ask. Would I stay again not until its modernised and cleaner I've been doing premier inn all over and this is the 3rd one that was smelly, I will never use, come on premier inn ya beds are amazing other wise I wouldn't use these ones again.

just got back and can i just say i’ve stayed at this hotel 3 times before and have never experienced anything like this before. we got here early and walked into the town centre just after 3 ( just after check in time stated on email) there was a queue out the door there was a lovely member of staff on the desk who was working her hardest and was very polite and welcoming. we was told the rooms was not ready and won’t be ready for a while even after the check in time they was short staffed and was struggling to get rooms made up. we spoke to the supervisor/manager and she was the rudest person i’ve met she was condescending and dam right rude she needs to learn some customer service skills and needs to be taught some manners.all she kept saying was it was not her problem fair enough but she was suggesting that is was ours All she needed to have done is come down and explained and apologised then the 20 of us in the queue wouldn’t have moaned as we did. i can tell you know she had a queue of people eating to see her that night could not fault the room at all lovely and clean but the staff is another problem.

Staff are welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. This hotel is in the best position directly opposite the sea front. There are lots of places to eat and drink from the reasonably priced to expensive. A good place to use as a base to explore Devon.
