"Family Break"
I'm really surprised to see so many negative reviews! We've just had a two night family Break here and everything was good! Easy walk from Queen Street Station, smooth check-in, (used the machine), on-site Stasher Lockers, access by QR code. Family room was plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 young people + all our luggage! There's a guest supplies area, so you can refresh your room trays as often as you like. The food was hot and tasty, plenty of choice for breakfast and prices were very reasonable 👌 It was clean throughout and the staff were mostly happy to help. It was extremely hot weather and we were consistently asking for iced (tap) water, which they happily supplied. I, and my family, had a lovely stay and would highly recommend without hesitation !!
"Very nice I like it"
Lovely stay, check in was nice and quick hotel room clean and shower pressure was great. Think it was Taylor or Kayla that checked me in and was lovely
"Amazing lunch!"
Went for lunch today with my parents and was served by the fantastic Maria! Amazing customer service and a friendly face! Will be back again very soon!
"5 stars for a budget hotel"
We have stayed here many times but not in the last few years due to their inflated prices Luckily, this year we found a couple of rooms for bargain prices This Premier Inn has been updated with The Social The whole Reception, Bar and Dining areas have had a glow up and are very cosy and welcoming. My husband & I checked in via the automatic booths which were easy to use We went to our room which had a standing fan & discovered the air con was not working We went back to Reception and one of the staff said he had now turned on the air con in our room Back up to the room & the air con still wasn’t working Back down to Reception A different member of staff, Ashley said he would swap our room & did this immediately & without fuss He apologised & was very friendly The new room was bigger & everything worked Room very clean & Bayliss & Harding hand wash/shower gel provided Decent tv, tea making facilities & the bed was comfy. We went back to The Social in the late afternoon for a drink at the bar Ashley was welcoming & took our orders & brought our drinks over Such good service which I didn’t expect in a Premier Inn. 2 for 1 cocktails all day & happy hour drinks are 2 for £8 We didn’t try any food but the prices seemed reasonable & perfect if you didn’t want to leave the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a trip to Cardiff It is centrally located, clean and we experienced excellent service
"Not the worst Premier Inn"
Incredibly poor and slow service in the restaurant. Food is average and staff are utterly unaware of availability of dishes. Drinkes ordered with the meal often come as a dessert! Check in is easier if you go to the bar. No need to book a table in the evenings. Very thin walls!
