"Dinner.....no,breakfast yes,nice rooms,very clean.Staff need to be retrained!!!!"
I had booked a b/fast dinner option for 2 nights whilst i was staying there. But unfortunately i chose to cancel my 2nd nights dinner.I ordered my main course with maybe the waiter and a glass of white wine n soda.I was then asked would i like to order dessert at the same time...no thanks. No wine came and when passing he said havnt you had wine.It then came after a while wine..no soda.My main course arrived maybe 15mins later.Nice especially the salad. Then more waiting until somebody passed for me to ask for my ice cream dessert.i Again waiting ages for my ice cream,it was lovely,But as I looked up I could clearly see the Big guy who calls everybody sweetie/lovie vaping in the kitchen.I was horrified,by the way I am a smoker myself. This was the guy who took my food and wine order and asked if I wanted to order dessert. Then I went to reception to say my tv channels werent working properly. The guy said they would send somebody up.....nobody came,so I went to reception again next day and repeated my request to somebody else.Immediately they came,a lovely maintenance chap Tom.....all sorted.I have asked the original guy for some sort of refund for me declining my evening meal,at first he said no Breakfas/dinner must be cancelled at the same time...I said no and he replied its done.So far no refund, but I will give them a few days chance yet. After saying all of this,it was a lovely stay and I feel very vulnerable to sort these issues as a lone traveller.
"Overnight in Cardiff"
The Premier Inn is conveniently situated for the City Centre & Queen Street Station. The hotel is quiet and the staff friendly.
"Great atmosphere"
We where served by a woman called Katie on the bar on the weekend she was so lovely and friendly and more than happy to help us! She made our stay so enjoyable with her fun bubbly energy will definitely be back! Great vibes xx
"Wonderful Staff"
Overall a very good stay and would definitely recommend. The only downside to our sta was flat, unsupportive pillows. Could not fault anything else all. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, and are a true credit to the Premier Inn group.
"Good value"
Good location. Good value for a couple or family but expensive for singles. Good value Breakfast but it was Luke warm. Good deals on drinks
