"Great location for the stadium"
We stayed here for 2 nights for oasis. We have a premier inn mattress at home so this is just perfect for us. We had a family room and it was one of the room that had not yet been refurbished. It was expensive £700 for 2 nights and prices went up the minute oasis was announced and we booked the hotel before we had tickets. Def naughty of them raising the price but the location is great and I cannot fault it. Bathroom was clean room tidy. Lovely gesture of 2 bottles of oasis in the room with details of the event. Turns out the Friday only one guest wasn’t seeing oasis 😳 which was mental. We used the bar 247 opening which was great and the drink prices were ok. Breakfast was fab even better kids ate free and 2 14 year olds that eat loads it was well worth it. I’m coeliac and need a gluten free diet and they accommodated me with no problems. I had to order and it was cooked to order so I couldn’t do the self service. So had to wait BUT I would so much prefer that rather than being ill. Parking was a pain because of the one way streets but in reality it was just because we didn’t know the area but was easy Overall great stay thank you premier inn
"Visiting daughter at University - 2 night stay July 2025."
Fabulous stay, fabulous location, right in the middle of Cardiff City but peaceful location. The room was clean and tidy, I was helped to check in on arrival and then also to resolve a mistake I had made on booking. All staff were cheerful, helpful, courteous and happy to engage. Well done Cardiff!
"Not great"
We stayed here for one night on the 24th june 2025 . The check in service was very poor lines of people as only one member of staff working , and self check in didnt work . Staffing was a issue all through our stay. Had a upgrade room which was nice but when in room air conditioning did not work had to ask for a fan very hot in room due to this . Food in restaurant was fantastic but a little pricey. Won't be returning to this permier inn as staffing let it down
"Perfect"
Nice and big room, very quiet at night. Good location - just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. Very easy check in and check out.
"Great hotel and location"
Pros - Location was spot on, especially for the Utilita Arena, which was a 5 minute walk - Staff were fantastic - Clean and comfortable rooms. - SuperRooms were well worth the money, also having a corner room meant it was absolutely enormous - Reasonably priced parking nearby in the nearby Cardiff Dumfries Place car park Cons - When I stayed, there was a power outage on the morning of departure. What they didn’t tell us was that this would cut off the water so I couldn’t have a shower the next day. It was rather unpleasant given I’d been to a gig the night before. I spoke to Guest Services who came up with a good resolution. For that reason they still get a 5 star review. Stayed here for a Sum 41 concert in the some friends and I don’t think we could have booked a better hotel. The power outage was a one off and unlikely to recur so don’t let that deter you. Would I stay here again - Absolutely.
