"Threats by staff of being kicked out onto the streets at midnight for making a complaint the 24/7 kitchen was closed."
Threatening Staff and False Advertising of 24/7 Kitchen open times. I arrived back at the hotel at 12:45am to find the kitchen closed, despite the website and staff when we checked in clearly stating it is open 24/7. When I expressed my frustration about this as I was starving when I got back I was told by a member of staff that if I raised my voice, I would be “out on the street.” Even when I spoke very calmly with the staff member expressing my annoyance about this he repeated that “at the rate you are going, you will be out on the street soon if you keep complaining.” At no point was I aggressive; I was simply voicing a valid complaint about a service that was advertised but not provided. I have never, in any hotel I have stayed in, been threatened with being thrown onto the street for raising a complaint. It is completely unacceptable and appalling for staff to threaten paying guests in this way. Especially being kicked out late at night as this would put me in danger for making a complaint to a staff member about something advertised that was not provided. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The kitchen was not open as promised, the staff response was threatening and unprofessional, and guests are clearly not treated with respect. Avoid this hotel at all costs—if you complain, you risk being thrown out onto the street.

Threatening Staff and False Advertising of 24/7 Kitchen I arrived back at the hotel at 12:45am to find the kitchen closed, despite the website clearly stating it is open 24/7 and the staff earlier saying it would be open. Even when I spoke very calmly expressing my disappointment and annoyance about this the staff member repeated that “at the rate you are going, you will be on the street.” At no point was I aggressive; I was simply voicing a valid complaint about a service that was advertised but not provided. "Very pleasant and comfortable"
The room was perfect, excellent view over Cardiff, bed very comfortable, food was lovely and service was amazing, staff was always happy to help, definitely would be a place to book again if in Cardiff
"Feels like home"
This would be the fourth time we have stayed here and one of my favourite premier inns. Staff are very polite and helpful. We always ask for a room on the higher floors as you get such a good view of the city especially at night. The room was amazing and this is the second time we have had room 901, its massive and even has a corner sofa and chair at the far end of the room and a massive super king size bed, it was amazing and so comfortable. The only thing I would say is, its such a shame that the tv isn't on a twist tv stand as you can really only see the tv when sat on the bed. We ate on the restaurant two evenings, the first night there were a few things that weren't available so not an issue but on the second night very little to choose from and one of the meals chosen had items missing which they didn't let us know, so that was a bit disappointing but think this was due to a change in the menu which was happening in two days so the kitchen hadn't stocked up on some food items. All in all a lovely stay and hopefully when we go back there we can have the same room. Thanks all the staff at cardiff city centre premier inn.
"Friendly staff"
Staff at this hotel are always friendly and helpful. The ground floor space is friendly, welcoming and modern. The rooms are standard Premier Inn, suitable for me.
