"Exceptional Personal Service"
Fairly standard Premier Inn in terms of room, parking and breakfast - perfectly good but exactly what you'd expect. The warm welcome from the exceptional receptionist and pretty location however, made it memorable. The restaurant next door where you have breakfast has a gorgeous beer garden right on to a lake. There is a footpath around the lake leading to a little beach according to the friendly receptionist who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and give us a personal service. I really got the impression that she (and therefore the hotel) cared about their customer experience and our custom wasn't just taken for granted. It is unusual to get that level of personalised service from a relatively low cost chain hotel. Well done - wish we'd had more time to explore the lake and sit in the beer garden but we were there for a wedding party, so didn't have much time to do our own thing.

"CUSTOMER RELATIONS LEAVE A LOT TO BE DESIRED"
We have used this 'Premier Inn' a few times, as my Husband's brother lives close by so it is very convenient for us to visit. All of the staff are really helpful, welcoming and friendly and It is always clean and well kept.
We had a room booked by 'Flexi rate' for two nights mid June. Regrettably, due to a family emergency we found we had to return home after just one night. I went to reception at 9a.m. of the morning we were going to leave and under the terms of paying the 'Flexi rate', the receptionist ensured me that I would receive a full refund for the night I was cancelling, as I had made the aforementioned cancellation before 1.00p.m..
However, I have still not received any re-fund.
I have tried several times without success to contact Customer Relations. However, a wonderful lady called Myfanwy Lewis has been remarkable in trying to solve this problem for me. She herself contacted Customers relations but was told I had to speak to them directly, which I am still trying to do.
Nevertheless, this lovely lady has contacted me a couple of times to check on my progress with this matter and is still endeavouring to reach a satisfactory conclusion for me. She is a real consummate professional and I do hope 'Premier Inns' realise and recognise her worth.
We stay in 'Premier Inns' a lot on our travels, but have never experienced a problem like this before. We have always rated 'Premiers' highly, and because of this most helpful lady, who has gone above and beyond her reception duties to assist us, we rate this one more than anything.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for 'Customer Relations' but well done Myfanwy and thank you so much for your sincere kindness and help.

"Perfect for us"
Pleasant, easy to find and plenty of parking. Rooms clean and well maintained. Staff lovely and welcoming. Hairdryer in room plus air conditioning! Very welcome with the high temperature!

"Needs Attention"
Comfy bed. Great staff. Breakfast was great. Too many flies in the restaurant though. Landing on the continental bfast and bread. Buzzing round my meal as I ate it.

"Chilling out @Sandpiper"
Best thing was the staff' very friendly & helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay. This was so for all the Premier Inn's we stayed in but this one was extra special because we were made to fell special. A great way to start our Wales & England holiday!
