Llanelli Central West hotel

A pleasant nights rest with the room itself being clean and fully meeting our requirements. The adjoining Brewers Fayre is sadly now closed, only open to those staying at the Premier Inn. Understand this and the hotel are being sold which is sad to hear as we have been going to both for several years. The location itself is pleasantly situated adjoining Sandy Water Park and a short walk to views of the Gower Peninsular. We must mention that on our arrival the reception was manned by the Maintenance Manager who was extremely pleasant and helpful when we requested a room change - the initial room offered was close to several electric fans and we have previously had problems sleeping at another hotel with the noise of fans running 24/7 (Not a Premier Inn hotel). We would also wish to mention the waitress who served our 'cooked to order' breakfast the following morning. Once again she was very pleasant and helpful . The breakfast itself was good quality which set us up for our return journey to Kent. It would appear this will sadly be our last visit to this location but not to Premier Inn as understand there is another located in Llanelli. Hopefully the staff who are currently employed at this hotel will find alternative employment with Premier Inn, Llanelli as they are a credit to the company.

Great location, excellent staff! The whole team were excellent! Wonderful receptionist, brilliant waiter in the restaurant ( delicious pizza) and a super waitress in the morning at breakfast. All went over and above to ensure my daughter and I had a lovely stay.

Only spent one night here as we were traveling further into South Wales and was using this to break up the journey. Myfanwy (not sure if that’s the correct spelling of her name) was so welcoming and so very helpful when we checked in and throughout our stay. What a lovely lady! Had a great nights sleep, very quiet and the bed was so comfortable! What more could you ask for.

The hotel itself is - as expected - basic but clean and functional.and very handy for Llanlli. However it is the staff who make the experience so much better. Reception staff were welcomig and engaging. The Sandpipers Brewers Fayer linked restaurant next door was as expected with the standard menu. However Jake the front of house waiter, could not have done more to ensure that everyone had the best experience possible. It is a long time since I have seen someone take such proactive measures to ensure every guest has a good experience, and I could see he engaged with everyone - inc mysef- in a professional and genuine manner without being in any way intrusive . Whatever he's being paid is not enough.

I stayed as I was participating in an event on the Gower peninsula so I had booked my stay purely on location. Pleasantly surprised to find it was a 10 minute walk to a huge beach and coast line with fantastic views. This Premier Inn has Free car parking, lovely welcoming receptionists, clean and quiet room (110). Easy to go and get dinner across the car park. I was on my own and they gave me a quiet table in a corner which I appreciated. I didn’t stay for breakfast as I had to leave before 7. The only small gripe was there is no usb socket in the room so I couldn’t charge my phone. And possibly open for breakfast earlier. But I would recommend this premier inn based on my stay.
