"Great stay - book here if you’re going to a concert!"
Stayed here for one night after the Billie Eilish concert at the Hydro. The location was the most import part for us and it was absolutely perfect. It’s basically a 5 minute walk to the venue. Took 25 mins from in your seat to being in bed! Check in was pretty easy at the self check machines. Went with a group and they put our original rooms quite far apart. I asked if we could get ones next door and one of the staff was able to do this which was great. I’m not sure why they weren’t automatically next door when it was on one booking. Just goes to show you don’t get if you don’t ask. Rooms were good, decent sized and clean. Had a great view of the Hydro and Armadillo. Beds were super comfortable but the pillows are rocks. Despite being busy because of the concert the hotel was actually really quiet. There’s good insulation between the rooms, you only hear a bit of noise from the corridor. There’s no road noise at all on the river side. On site Costa is convenient and there’s a restaurant too. Not much else close by but there’s places a bit of a walk away towards the city centre or Finnieston. Had breakfast in the hotel and it was okay but nothing amazing. I’d recommend going as early as possible because it shuts at 10:30 and they actively start kicking people out at 10:15. All in all it was a pretty perfect stay. Will definitely come back when going to another concert at the Hydro. Saves driving back late and you get more of a mini break!
"charge you for your room twice and dont want to know when you tell them."
Hotel brilliant but they charged me twice, I told them several times that they had but they just kept fobbing me off, I even showed them the statement when I originally booked the room the year before and the card receipt from the day, the staff took all details including copy of receipt and said someone would be in touch, moneys gone still no phone call, My friend had the same the year before..
"Good stay not what was advertised as a premier room"
We love a premier inn room as a family. As it was my daughters birthday I thought we would book the premier room as it has little added extras and upgrades. Unfortunately none of those upgrades were in this room, the view of the hydro was great and being on the 5th floor however if im laying slightly more for an advertised room I would expect it to have the extras. Overall premier inn hotels are great, we picked this over the Village across the road as the price rocketed and my children premier it. The room was looking tired with bubbled paint in the bathroom and could have been abit more thoroughly cleaned around the taps and bath area (I wiped it before the kids had a bath and chose not to take a picture to add to this review) Overall good stay, there is work starting on the floor we stayed on so guessing thats the upgrades being added.
"Great location for Business stay"
The room was clean and airy, as were the reception and bar area. The staff were polite. friendly and very helpful, not too far from the airport and easy access to the city centre, the perfect business location at a very reasonable price.
"Warm Glasgow Premier Inn welcome."
Excellent Glasgow Premier Inn, place to stay in Glasgow, right on the River Clyde, easy access for the city centre and plenty of sights to see.
