"Excellent transport links to city centre & airport. Clean hotel with friendly & helpful staff"
I was a solo traveller to meet up with a group of friends in the city centre & was slightly anxious about staying in a hotel alone , especially with it being so far out of town. I need not have worried. I had paid for an early check-in and my room was ready when I stepped off the train ( practically outside the front of the hotel) at 11.15am. The room was clean, well proportioned with a shower room that modern & fresh with excellent water pressure. I met my friends at the tram stop, also right outside the hotel & we travelled to the city centre quickly & easily.
I returned to the hotel later that night by tram too.
Breakfast in the morning was well.worth the money. A good variety of choice in a bright airy space. All the staff were very friendly & welcoming. I thoroughly recommend a stay here, especially as a female solo traveller

"Business stays can be pleasurable."
A very well situated hotel, very close to my meeting venue. The hotel is situated off of the beaten track, but right next to Edinbur Park Tram & Train station. Directly opposite to this is a shopping park, including Aldi, Decathlon & Tesco. There is also a Costa. A bit further down the road is a very large Krispy Kreeme doughnut shop. The hotel accommodation was very good, with a Fridge in the room that I booked. I needed a fan in the room as I cannot use airconditioning. This was no problem and was placed in my room, when I returned. The room was VERY quiet and was kept very clean. I appreciated the free water and Chocolate bars. A nice touch! . The staff all smiled when interacting with me and I was able to have nice discussions with them. Breakfast was buffet style, which I appreciate, and the quality of the food and surroundings were fully acceptable. To be honest, the price was quite expensive to what I previously paid, however, you DO get bwhat you pay for, so all-in-all, top marks to everyone at Edinburgh Park Premier Inn.

"Disappointing to say the least"
This is a budget hotel that feels like its cost saving initiatives have gone too far resulting in a disappointing experience.
Unfriendly staff, self check in screens in reception, housekeeping / room cleaning only if you request it and a cheap basic room that’s tired and stuffy not helped by not being able to open windows.
I requested housekeeping on the 2nd night of my 3 night stay but all they did was make my bed and hang up my used towels, the toilet and bathroom wasn’t cleaned which is pretty disgusting.
The beds at Premium Inns seem to be something they’re proud of but in my experience the bed was old and not at all comfortable.
Staff were surly and lacked any customer service skills.
I’m travelling to Edinburgh regularly on business and thought I’d give this a go but I absolutely won’t be returning.
Stay away, spend a bit more and you’ll get proper service from people who genuinely care.

"It's ok but this Hotel needs to make improvements in service..."
The Hotel is just fine and a great location. Food and bar are fine. Rooms are clean but I cannot give a 5 star review. Lose one star for the fact that if you call the hotel - 0131 338 0130 - for any reason - they NEVER answer the phone. Lose another star as you have to book a dinner slot or you may not eat until quite late. So top tip is go to reception, hit the buzzer, someone may appear if you're lucky, and confirm with them a time you want for dinner. Trust me, I've been in and out of this hotel every month since January this year. Staff are nice enough, but do things at their pace. Don't expect great customer service from this budget hotel...
