"Pleasant stay"
I had a pleasant stay. My room was clean and large enough to manoeuvre a wheelchair. I couldn’t book a room with a shower as there were now available. I’ve added pictures of the bathroom.
I was pleased that there was an alarm next to the bed.
I was disappointed that the lift was broken at the front so I had to go through the back entrance. The pavement camber was tricky in places.
Staff were helpful, apologetic, and helpful.
The room cost me more than I had planned to spend as I had to book Premier Inn quite late due to a competitor hotel also experiencing a broken lift!

"Excellent"
I stay at a lot of Premier Inns, and this was one of the best experiences I've ever had. Spacious and clean room, staff were all lovely, and really helpful. Place is a bit of a disconcerting maze when you first go looking for your room, but never mind! Location is perfect, on the seafront, and only a few minutes walk into the centre of Worthing for shops, cafes, pub etc. Parking in the underground carpark at the back was slightly cramped and nerve-wracking, trying to squeeze a new car with a longer-bonnet-than-before into the last available spot (on the second night I just parked it outside on the seafront, to save the stress!), but a minor gripe - still 5* overall and would definitely return.

"Good sleep in a worn hotel"
This Premier Inn always has issues
We had paid for early check in from 11. The room wasn't ready, and they later discovered there was a leak in it. We did get another room at 11.30. (Not a sea view, but we will get a refund for that).
The lift calling button in the lobby didn't work, so staff had to run upstairs and take the lift down
In one lift the bottom part of the panel was held in place with sticky tape. The restaurant is very worn (cracked seats and crackly tables. It is all a bit shoddy - but we did have a very good nights sleep

"Not as accessible as advertised"
Although the staff were lovely, kind and accommodating, ensuring they did the best they could to help me, the actual hotel itself is not as accessible as it advertises itself to be. Boasting many accessible rooms, it would be thought that there may be more than what appears to be 2 or 3 wetroom bedrooms. All the other accessible rooms are fitted with bathtubs and bars rather than wet-rooms, meaning they are not accessible to the majority of wheelchair users.
As I did not need to shower whilst there, I did not mind booking one with a bath even though I wouldn't be able to use it. However, this bathroom was not really accessible anyway. The minimum width for a doorway to be accessible is 80-85cm; this door frame appears to be, but the sliding door that was used obscures at least 1/4 of the doorway. The staff did manage to slightly alter this and ensure I could get in and out of the bathroom, but my chair's armrests did sustain damage from how tight it was.
The rest of the room was just about accessible; my only qualm would be that, as a wheelchair user, like others, can struggle to get in and out of beds, when a bed is soft, it is made 100x harder. In the end, I was in a lot of pain from the sleep there, and it worked out easier to get into my chair after going from the mattress onto the floor rather than straight from the bed.
The most aggravating issue was the handling of the lift. When I arrived, the lift was broken, and the only alternative access was in through the staff and deliveries, down an alley, and to press a buzzer and wait to be let in. If this wasn't bad enough, on multiple occasions, I was left out there for over 15 minutes with no response on the buzzer and no other way of accessing my hotel room. Importantly, I think that if you have bookings for wheelchair rooms and your only lift breaks, you should at least call the booking to warn them and explain when it will be fixed, and if they want to rearrange, they can. I received no mention that the lift would not be working when I arrived, and there was no visible intent or attempts to fix the lift during my stay.
