"Superior room met expectations. Right on the seafront"
My wife and I elected to book a superior, sea view room for our trip to Worthing. It's not cheap, especially over the weekend, but the room was certainly very nice. The hotel is pretty much right on the seafront, you can access the promenade within 30 seconds walk. Views, if you have one, are lovely. Upon arrival we parked in the hotel's underground car park (it's made very clear in the T&C that they charge for this). On Saturday evening through to Monday Morning we parked outside on the street as during those hours it's free. Staff were helpful and the room met our expectations. There are a few steps to get into the front entrance of the hotel and on this occasion the wheelchair lift wasn't working. I wasn't travelling with a wheelchair user but sometimes I do so this is something I note as important - however there is another accessible entrance. Remember you need your room card to access floors above 0, some people seemed to struggle with this. The room itself was well appointed with a nice bed, desk with tea/coffee facilities including a Nespresso machine. Good sized TV, plenty of space and two chairs plus a pouffe by the bay window. The bathroom was slightly bigger than most chain hotel bathrooms with a nice shower over the bath. The only thing missing was a wardrobe, there is one drawer in a unit that houses the ironing board or you can stash stuff under the bed. One of the chairs (the high backed one in my photo) was much more comfy than the other, the seat being much better padded. There was one stain on the carpet but I can forgive that, I don't expect a new carpet every time someone spills strong coffee. We did have one breakfast at the Thyme restaurant, and it was pretty good. The cook was very happy to accommodate my wife's request for hard fried eggs and was refreshing cooked food frequently. There is better to be had in town but the breakfast here was decent and set us up for a day out. All the staff we encountered were polite and professional. Note that they only clean your room if you request it, which we did on one of our four days. On that day the room was cleaned and serviced as requested. The hotel seems well run, though one day we were going to have lunch at Thyme and found it was already closed at 13:30 which seemed a bit early but perhaps we just missed the opening hours. Plenty of electric sockets over the desk. There's one on one side of the bed but not the other - having sockets on both bedsides would be great. Overall recommended, nothing specifically wrong. Two equally comfy chairs and that extra socket would improve what is already a relaxing space.
"Excellent! I'll be back."
I've been going to Worthing to visit family every year for around 10years and stayed at Travelodge. This year I chose premier inn and wondered why I hadn't done this before. The whole experience was so much better. My room was immaculate, clean and bright. The bathroom was great, great shower again all very clean. Checking in was easy and having parking was really helpful. The things I initially struggled with were paying for parking where I missed putting in the discount code. Next time I'll be aware. Not realizing that I needed to put my door card into the slot in my room to get lights, was also something I'll remember for next time!! The air con was easy to use,the sea view was lovely. Dinner was fabulous! Exactly what I had expected, delicious!! (I had the steak) The meal deal seemed like a good idea,it included breakfast. There are, however, some hidden extras in the meal deal so be aware. I think my only minor grumble, and it is really minor, that I couldn't open a window at all, not even for a small amount. I would have liked fresh air throughout the night rather than a slightly noisy air con and the bathroom had a whiff of old urine probably still in the floor by the loo. But other than that, I'd absolutely stay again and recommend it to others and I will definitely be back next year. The staff by the way were fabulously helpful and friendly, which makes a huge difference. Thank you.
"Great stay and Breakfast"

"Best staff in any UK hotel I have visited"
The staff are exceptional in their care and desire to help you enjoy your stay. The hotel is in an excellent position and is well maintained
"Premier Inn Worthing"
All staff were very friendly and efficient. All were smiley and polite. Especially Christine in the breakfast kitchen, who was extremely busy. Room was clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay there again.
