"Great stay right next to the Nirth terminal, Gatwick airport."
Perfect overnight stay close to Gatwick North in readiness for our early morning flight. The check-in process was superb and quick. Our room was exceptionally appointed, very clean and the bed was so comfy. I didn’t think I’d sleep but I slept so well. We enjoyed our meal bundle during the evening and had a lovely Costa coffee prior to this in the in-hotel Costa bar when we got there. We also sat outside in the courtyard terrace which is just lovely; plenty of seats, parasols and gorgeous fairy lights. We don’t drink but there was a bar which looked great and overlooked the airport and runway. We will definitely book again. Great value and all- round experience. Thank you premier inn.
"Premier plus room, great hotel"
Stanley on check in very good, as we are frequent guests and had paid for 2 nights but only really used 1 night as we landed the next morning, he gave us complimentary breakfasts. He did think he’d checked us into a runway view room again like we had on departure but the view was of the middle of the hotel and room seemed smaller. It was fine though as we were just recovering from jet lag and slept most of the time we were there. Meal was fine but the fish is half the size it used to be! Would recommend and would stay again and again 😀
"Horrible experience, book else where"
Loud noise all night. I reported it while in the hotel; staff couldn’t help and no room move was offered. I raised it again at checkout and then emailed a formal complaint. Over a month later, zero reply. Management now claim I only mentioned it on departure to dodge the Good Night Guarantee. That isn’t true. No accountability, no resolution, no goodwill. I paid for a sleepless night and got excuses. I won’t be back. Just a sorry from a team member.
"Mere Steps from the Gatwick Airport North Terminal"
Premiere Inn London Gatwick North Terminis is merely steps from the Gatwick Airport North Terminal; just across the road. We chose the premium plus room on the nineth floor which was very clean and spacious. The window was facing the inside atrium, so it was very quiet. We enjoyed the kettle, tea and the Nespresso coffee maker in the room. It also had a blow dryer, an ironing board and iron, but we didn't need them. There was nice body wash/shampoo and another liquid soap in the shower but no hair conditioner. We opted for the meal deal which allows you to choose two items for supper plus a limited choice of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage and a full buffet breakfast in the morning starting at 4 AM. It was all pretty good but wasn't much cheaper than paying as you go. I wouldn't opt for this deal next time. They sent me a reminder to book a reservation for supper and I'm glad I did; it was pretty crowded that evening. Breakfast was not crowded at all at 7 AM. They would not allow us to check in before 3 PM without paying the extra fee, so we had a coffee that the Costa coffee place while we waited for less than an hour. It was pretty easy to check in using the automated kiosks and because it was the first time using it, a front desk person helped us out. Overall, I would recommend staying here for anyone who needs an overnight stay at the airport and doesn't have a car.
"Poor management as ever"
Why can the management of this hotel not grasp the concept that the bar gets busy at certain times? I stay here regularly and it is always the same. Just queued for 20 minutes from 5pm to get one beer. Staff doing their best but never enough on
