"Very nice stay"
Landed at Gatwick at 1 pm and had another flight early next morning. Check in was very quiet then and I checked in early, everything went smoothly. Lovely clean room, comfy bed, good shower and everything was very clean. Went into London since a had the whole day so did not eat at the hotel. There is an M&S Food hall in arrivals if you need something to munch.
"Easy overnight stay at the right price"
Great place to spend the night after a late flight. An easy walk from North Terminal although signposting could be better from the shuttle - the signs are behind you as you get off causing us a much longer walk (and up and down stairs with luggage) Room was great, very quiet, clean and tidy. Check-in wasn't brilliant, it's all self check-in screens which didn't accept overseas addresses very easily and wanted more information which had already been provided at booking. Overall would stay again if the price was right.
"Fine tuning required"
Because it's really a transit hotel doesn't mean it has to be totally impersonal. Check-in is by screen, though there was help if required. We booked a table for dinner but ended up queuing as there seemed no system to fast track pre-booked guests. Very happy with service from Thai lady in the restaurant. Food was just acceptable. Bar staff spent ages punching in drink orders. The room was comfortable. The location was perfect but it needs fine tuning. Having to stop off at reception on leaving meant leaving the lift and then taking it again. There must be a simpler solution.
"A great early start to the holiday."
Easy and straight forward experience with great access to the North Terminal for our early flight. Staff in the restaurant were fabulous and the food was served really quickly. Rooms are the standard expected with great size beds.
"Just Awful!"
Location was the only good thing. The room was dirty - stains on toilet seat, rusty soap container and general griminess. Smelt of smoke. Cups not clean. Only one towel. Lifts a nightmare - not enough for the people. Definitely expensive for what it was. Worst Premier Inn i've ever been and maybe even the worst hotel room.
