"Extra mile"

"Two excellent stays at the beginning and end of our recent holiday."
Clean room and two good nights sleep. Staff were so accommodating especially when we arrived late due to a long delay, Gaynor, in the restaurant, looked after us so well and ensured that my grandchildren had everything they needed, a very positive experience, would highly recommend.

Hotel is very clean and modern, as always with a premier Inn you know what you’re getting. We had diner there too, staff were really friendly particular Gaynor our server. Food surprising nice too, the burgers partially. For the money a good experience
"Overall - Not a good experience"
Where to start. Arrived at 4.45pm baring in mind check in was 3pm got given a room on first floor upon going in it was clear to tell it hadn’t been cleaned used tissues in the bathroom all over, last customers paper, colouring in stuff etc on table, duvets chucked on the floor. So had to go back to reception and was given another room on the 6th floor tbh had no complaints about this room was nice just an inconvenience when had been travelling from 9am on the morning. Went downstairs at 7pm to ask to book a table in restaurant no availability till 8pm. No problem though was told could order in bar and eat there or have in room and they would ring me when done to collect it, which I thought was perfect as was tired off travelling. Was being served and my served was interrupted by Robert behind the bar who said couldn’t take any food orders at bar my server went away and just didn’t return. Robert left me standing at the bar and continued to serve people who was coming to the bar and left me just standing there I was very embarrassed and upset, spoke to Michelle who spoke to her manager who said I could absolutely order to my room. So I went back to bar once again Robert told me he wouldn’t serve me and to be honest was very rude which had me upset problys didn’t help travelling all day hungry so was emotions were heightened. Went back to Michelle again the manager said I could. Robert is still telling me he can’t walked away from me rudely could hear and see him moaning with a colleague didn’t come back out but a lovely lady who I think was called myak or close and she had no issues with taking my order and was really helpful. At this point it is 7.45. 45 mins in total just to take a food and drink order is appalling and I would hate for anyone to feel the way Robert made me feel. Definitely needs re training in customer service skills and learning how to communicate with other members off staff. After I got my food to room realised I forgot condiments and went back down he blatantly walked past me and ignored me it was embarrassing and made me feel belittled. However could not fault the food we had evening and on the morning that was lovely.
"Excellent service"
Excellent service from Sofia. Smooth check in from her explaining where everything was. She then served us in the restaurant. Kind, friendly and welcoming great with the children. Quiet hotel room, plenty of parking spaces, good food in restaurant.
