"Fantastic staff, wide parking spaces, clean rooms"
This is the second time I’ve stayed at Goff’s Park, the first being back in April. The staff are so incredibly friendly and made this northerner feel right at home despite being 250 miles away from my own bed. Charli and Mo were fantastic the first time I stayed and they’re the reason I booked back at this hotel (even going so far as to having to justify staying in this hotel to my company as the price per night being more expensive than the other Crawley PI on this occasion). All of the staff on site are friendly and will do anything they can to help you. I know they have been particularly accommodating for someone I met whilst staying at the hotel due to some ongoing works in her house, allowing a small birthday celebration to happen. If I lived more local I’d honestly be popping to say hello. Next time I’m working in this neck of the woods I’ll be making sure that this is where I will be staying. Not only that but there was adequate and wide enough parking spaces for my van (this I’d the biggest problem I usually encounter). It is a quiet hotel with no main road traffic and minimal sirens due to being off the main road. Rooms were clean, food was good (I’ve spent 28 weeks in various PIs across the UK and ROI since October so having a new menu on this visit was a nice chance as I must admit I got a little fed up of the food but that’s not necessarily a PI issue, I just work away a lot and been through the full menu several times now). This Premier Inn is the best I’ve ever stayed in.
      "Overnight stay on 20.06.2025"
The lady on reception was also trying to cover the bar. She was lovely, cheerful and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, but she is clearly almost like a one man band. When the bar did open, the tables were sticky and had not been cleaned properly. The outside is in a terrible condition, and looks as thought it has not been done for a very long time. There was even a dead bird in the middle of the patio. There are clearly not enough staff, especially from a maintenance point of view. The room was however very clean and tidy, although when my sister-in-law turned on her television, something extremely offensive appeared on the screen. Luckily she is not easy to offend, however we could have asked for a refund and taken the matter further. All in all, it was alright for one night.
      "Special member of staff"
Typical Premier Inn in many ways but the member of staff called Kristal makes it special. What an effort that woman makes. Pay her well!
      "Not Lenny's best Premier Inn!!"
This Premier inn isn't up to Lenny's usual standard sadly. I have since asked work not to book me in there again. The staff are lovely though, it's not their fault. You can only work with what you have. The star of the hotel is Kristel in the restaurant, very kind and attentive. Thank you.
      "Weekend stay"
No issues with hotel or staff but putting just post code into the Sat Nav sent us onto a housing estate (not good at 1am in the morning when just returned from Gatwick) - had to enter actual name of Premier Inn to get to correct location. Breakfast was good but poor girl serving was on her own trying to clear/set tables, speak to customers, take orders and deliver food. No fault of her own but we waited 30 minutes for our breakfast - several were waiting longer - Suggest employing another member of staff especially at weekends.
