      "No more"
ve stayed here a few times for work, but unfortunately, this visit was awful. The check-in process was a mess—they mixed up my colleague’s booking and it took over 20 minutes to sort out. The room had no air conditioning, and I had to sleep with just a fan, which was far from ideal on a hot, stuffy night. The shower was in terrible condition—full of black mould and barely any water pressure. Really disappointed this time around.
"Baffled by the high TripAdvisor rating"
Stayed in a number of Premier Inn hotels over the years but this was by far worst I’ve stayed in. The rooms are very tired and dated, bits of mould in the bathrooms, loose fixtures and fittings and very dated carpets. There’s no air conditioning although there was a fan in the room. My biggest gripe though was of the two rooms we booked, when we got up the following morning, the room next to one of ours and the two directly opposite were both being fumigated by Ecolab. I will presume this was bed bugs? Seeing 3 rooms adjacent to one of ours being fumigated wasn’t very reassuring. The free WiFi was pretty useless, we didn’t try the premium WiFi. Trying to find some positives, the lady who checked us in was very friendly, and the food and service in the Harvester next door was excellent, but we certainly wouldn’t stay here again in the future. There’s plenty of parking available around the back of the hotel as well as at the front and side.
"Never again, tired rooms and bed bug treatments going on whilst guests are staying!"
We are regulars to Premier Inns across the country so generally we know what to expect. However this has to be the worst Premier Inn we've ever stepped foot in. The rooms are tired and in desperate need of an refurbishment, the bathroom was like something out of the 1980s and the taps in one of our rooms were hanging off. The icing on the cake was when we were leaving the next day Ecolab were there seemingly treating 4 rooms in the rooms by us for Bed Bugs! I have a huge thing about bedbugs and do not think they should have been putting customers in rooms so close to where there is clearly an active infestation that needed treating. Steer clear of this one unless you want some 1980's nostalgia or to take some little bedbug guests home with you!
      "Brilliant!"
The team couldn’t do enough for us during our stay, we came to stay for a family wedding and from the moment we arrived the team were friendly, welcoming, polite, professional and went above and beyond to ensure our trip ran smoothly. A big thankyou to Lisa and Radi in particular!
      "Great stay."
Very clean and comfortable room. Staff were all pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and very well presented. Only downside was the shower room didn't dry out. Possibly broken fan?
