      "Excellent "
      Stayed here for a few nights, location is good just off the A1 and not far from MetroCentre. Room was good value for the price paid, clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Spoke to the manager and he was really friendly and helpful, we would definitely go back
      "Rubbish, poor customer service and premier in. business card ineffective"
      The premier inn business card, for the second consecutive stay, hadn’t authorised even though this was diligently processed after the first instance/issue. On getting to reception and explaining we had followed all instructions, the receptionist - who lacked any empathy or understanding to the situation simply said ‘well you obviously didn’t authorise it’. So there is clearly an issue with our business card if we’re following all instructions correctly, and clearly the reception staff could do with learning some customer service. We will happily take our business elsewhere.
      "I would recommend"
      I stayed here with my partner and we had a really nice stay, rooms are very clean and staff are extremely helpful and attentive. It’s set within a great location, close to the A1 and close to the Metro Centre shopping centre. We added breakfast to our stay which I would also recommend.

      Not the best premier inn experience, room was dated and worn , shower was weak , Lino in bathroom was uneven , restaurant only opened at 5 with limited menu ( 2 items I asked for was unavailable) windows was dirty , overall norms the usual premier inn standard you come to expect at £125 a night
      "Good stay "
      Good location just off the A1 and close to MetroCentre and Newcastle city centre so plenty of places to venture to for shopping/ eating. The hotel is currently doing the breakfast and dinner on a night out the old brewers fayre next door, they do close after breakfast and don't open again til 5pm so worth bearing in mind if youre expecting to get a drink/food on check in at 3. Reception mentioned this set up was temporary pending planning permission to extend the hotel into what used to be the brewers. Overall a very good stay.
