"You know what you will get. "
A little bit pricey for the room I got. Comfortable but it wasn't clean enough. It also didn't include the typical mini fridge to put short-stay groceries in. Nice bath though, it felt like going to a hot spring due to Bath's thermal waters.
"Great location. Within 5 mins walk of the attractions, Wetherspoon and Nandos next door."
No parking. A drop off in the side street. Bath is crawling with "ticket happy traffic wardens!!" There is an overnight car park opposite. 20.00 - 08.00 is free. However, you have to move your vehicle through the Citys "Clean Air Zone" to find another car park as you can not pay to extend your stay. Even if the car park is empty.... Good luck with the Clean Air Policy.. Anyway. 7 day car park at Avon Street. About 10 mins walk away. The hotel has some "Steak Restaurant" attached and serves a Premier Inn breakfast. Im sure there are better rooms, but mine faced some inner courtyard, where I faced a wall! Window didn't open. Good City Centre location.
"Charming staff - but the hotel !"
Paying £200 per night you would expect something special for the price - well we would! The hotel was tired the carpets joined in places by tape , paint peeling in the toilet, curtain hanging off the rail and net curtain did not cover the window. We were staying for 2 nights and were only given one towel between us. There was no phone in the room so we had to go back down 4 floors to the opposite end of the hotel to reception to request towels. We booked our family in and confirmed that their room had a cot as they would be arriving late after an event. They failed to provide it. All in all totally unsatisfactory stay and not what I’d come expect from Premier Inn
"A lovely hotel in a great location"
This hotel was in an ideal location to explore Bath. The hotel was quiet, clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a hot weekend and the air conditioning was excellent, so had a great night's sleep. We are at the Bar and Block restaurant for one breakfast and it was brilliant.
"Good location"
Excellent location for centre of Bath, but also very quiet. Clean, but decor a bit tired (this seems to be the case for most now). Staff lovely and friendly and helpful - female receptionist on checkout was super (sorry didn't get your name)! Had dinner at the attached Bar & Block for convenience which was excellent with lovely Sam for our waiter. One strange issue was the voiles in the rooms which did not fully cover the windows so curtains had to be kept closed for privacy - bizarre and unusual!
