"Expensive and disappointing."
We chose Premier Inn as we have always found them to be consistently good value and reasonably priced so booked for two nights. Starting with the good points, mostly lovely staff, comfortable beds and very convenient location. However, the pricing system in this Bath Premier Inn is confusing and we paid over £200 each for a Sunday booking and less than half for the next night. This unexpected price escalation had not been made clear when we booked some months ago. There was further confusion and mixed messaging about how long we had booked for. Both of the rooms booked were not cleaned on Sunday. The restaurant toilets were not clean and very unpleasant to use for most of the time we were there.
"Fantastic Staff and Great Stay - Highly Recommend!"
I stayed for one night and booked 2 rooms for me and my mum - the staff were absolutely fab! I didn’t manage to get the name of the lovely lady who checked us in and kindly stored our bags (she was wearing a hijab), but Beth, Rachel and Craig were all lovely and made me feel very welcome. For dinner and breakfast we went into the adjoining Bar and Block - the service in the restaurant was amazing as well, with all the staff members we interacted with smiling and helping us with anything we needed. Every single member of staff we interacted with was warm and welcoming. If anyone is looking to book a hotel in Bath, I would highly recommend this Premier Inn ❤️
"Don’t forget…"
Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive. Just make sure you take an adaptor for mobile phone and tablets as there us no usb outlets.
"You know what you will get. "
A little bit pricey for the room I got. Comfortable but it wasn't clean enough. It also didn't include the typical mini fridge to put short-stay groceries in. Nice bath though, it felt like going to a hot spring due to Bath's thermal waters.
"Great location. Within 5 mins walk of the attractions, Wetherspoon and Nandos next door."
No parking. A drop off in the side street. Bath is crawling with "ticket happy traffic wardens!!" There is an overnight car park opposite. 20.00 - 08.00 is free. However, you have to move your vehicle through the Citys "Clean Air Zone" to find another car park as you can not pay to extend your stay. Even if the car park is empty.... Good luck with the Clean Air Policy.. Anyway. 7 day car park at Avon Street. About 10 mins walk away. The hotel has some "Steak Restaurant" attached and serves a Premier Inn breakfast. Im sure there are better rooms, but mine faced some inner courtyard, where I faced a wall! Window didn't open. Good City Centre location.
