Bath City Centre hotel

Great hotel, we booked here as we were travelling as a family with two adults and two teenagers who obviously couldn't share a bed and lots of other hotels only either had two doubles or a double and a sofa bed. This hotel had a double bed and two singles and was in a great location, breakfast was lovely, no complaints. Room was clean, everything was easy.

I should have read all the other awful reviews about this hotel before booking but I didn't bother - after all this is a Premier Inn, what could possibly go wrong? Turns out the management are content to ignore all these customer comments. The carpets are still grubby and worn. The woodwork is still water damaged. The rooms still smell

We had a lovely 2 day day, staff are friendly and helpful, breakfasts were very good and room very comfortable. Thank you.

Not The Usual Premier Inn Quality - A Tale Of Two Halves. Long story short. Booked the hotel with breakfast, love premier inn, sensible price and superb location. Easy check in, got into the room Signs and Smell of Damp & Mould along with the feel and look of a very dirty room. After 15 minutes I decided to speak with customer service, they said I need to speak with the manager and then check out before I can do anything. Spoke with the Manager Beth who was sublime and very helpful, I then called customer services and with the help of the Manager Beth helped me get a full refund. We then checked out Immediately and checked into another hotel. Long story short Was I horrified…. Yes Did they sort it out….. Yes (refund as I requested) Due to this rectification would I continue to sue premier inn….. Yes

I have stayed in many premier inns over a number of years and to say this experience was very disappointing is an understatemet. We arrived at the hotel to the usual check in via a computer and so did not see anyone, this is normally not a problem. Dashing straight out to visit friends did not check room to see if clean ands had towels. We were awoken once the sun shone by the holes in the curtains. The walls were very grubby ands marked and the woodwork in the bathroom was rotten and coming off along with the paint. When we woke to go in the shower we discovered despite booking for 2 only 1 set of towels and of course no way to get another set when undressed. When we complained to the reception she apologiesed and said she would pass on our concerns, with others having made comments previously. Having complainted to premier inn they have just apoogiesd and almost blamed us for not teling the staff on our arrival of the room condition! It should not be up to the visitor to report problems which have obviously been there for along time the rooms should be well maintained. We stayed in two other premier inn that week which were both of the standard we would expect and were much cheaper to stay in both in prime locations. The response from Premier relatiosn has been appaling I would not recomeend them.
