"Poor staff"
I have stayed at over 100 premier inns over the last 15 years. You always know what you’re going to get but I have had my mind blown by the staffing at this premier inn. Breakfast is hit and miss whether food will be ready for the morning. Staff just sit down on their phones rather than go around and make sure everyone is cool and clean. I witnessed a staff member just walk out and the staff just being so hands off. As a manager myself I am just shocked at how unprofessional it is and definitely a stark contrast to the usual service I get at other premier inns.
"worst example of a premier Inn."
We have used this chain many times and this is the only one to disappoint. The duty manager (Ian ) was surly and unhelpful to the point of rudeness. Had to ask for fresh towels 3 times before any appeared. The evening meal was a farce. ordered 5 meals and after chasing after a 45 minute wait was told one of the meals was unavailable. another 30 minute wait and 4 meals came with no sign of the 5th. another wait of 15 minutes before that arrived. The food itself was average. There was one bright point and that was a young man named Drew who was the perfect waiter, apologetic and tried to be helpful. We did not pay for our meal, not because it was offered as a gesture but we simply refused. There was no argument from the manager !
"Harrogate perimer inn"
Close to city parking a nightmare but if you get there at 6pm you can park till 9am then pay a fiver to park for 3 Hours so you can have breakfast whitch wasn't nice .staff didn't care couldn't be Bothered Attitudes
"Worst hotel in the world"
Extreme lack of staff, poor management, rooms not ready for hours after check in, no drinks in stock and poor food. Avoid at all costs sleep in the park instead.
"A poor experience caused by a lack of staff and management resulted."
An unusually poor experience at a Premier Inn for me. Lack of staff and management resulted in a very slow check in, with some rooms not ready to occupy. A chaotic breakfast where the buffet kept on running out of items, Tables weren’t being cleared. Some guests had to be refunded when the hot breakfast items could not be replenished. The bar was poorly staffed making it difficult to get served.
