Harrogate Town Centre hotel

This Premier Inn is well-located for Harrogate's attractions. The room was clean and tidy - I believe the place is due to have a re-furb soon. The receptionist, Sarah, was welcoming and helpful. No major issues.

We stayed for one night as we were going to the RHS flower show in Harrogate. We booked a superior double room, if that was a superior room I dread to think how bad a standard room must be!! It was tired & very basic is the most polite way I can put it. They were obviously understaffed & their customer service was non-existent. Breakfast (if you can call it that) was the worst i have ever had in all the years I’ve been travelling… We had to ask someone to clean a table down for us & the young woman we asked looked at us like we were dirt… she cleaned it but didn’t set it so I had to go looking for cutlery etc. There were no croissants, pastries or pancakes There was a long black hair in the fruit tray 🤢 The wholemeal bread ran out The eggs ran out & after 10 minutes waiting I gave up (I’m vegetarian) so my breakfast comprised of mushrooms & baked beans. The coffee machine was broken all they provided was sachets of instant coffee Premier Inn are famous for their good customer service, however this hotel lacked any!! If you have booked to stay here, do yourself a favour & book elsewhere !!!!!

A good location for Harrogate town centre and excellent value for money. All the staff were exceptionally obliging and were very polite and friendly . Special thanks to Sarah H who was very warm and helpful from the word go. The only reason I couldn't award a 5 star rating is that it is getting a bit tired although very clean. I understand a refurbishment is starting in June.

We stayed for two nights for our 10th wedding anniversary. What a let down !!! Staff failed to read booking notes about the special Occasion. The rom Was a premier in plus room- there was nothing plus about the room!!! It was freezing on arrival , no towels , no hand wash no shower gel they were all empty. The bed was awful !!!! It was hard and lumpy and we had pillows that were so thin and flat . Having had brain surgery even with the spare pillows I could not sleep I was so uncomfortable. There was a lot of wear and poor cleaning to the room : Mouldy shower head Dirty toilet, Just to list a few . Breakfast was cold at the buffet counter , food was over cooked and had been sat so long the bacon wanted to walk To the bin. The coffee machine was always in error mode. Tables were Wiped before we were seated but no one replaced the cutlery , napkins . Our stay was no where near what we expected , total let down especially for such a mile stone in our marriage . We paid a lot of money for the two nights we stayed and it wasn’t worth it if like to know how I get that back !!! Stayed on loads of these hotels all been very good but sadly this one is awful

PARKING: Right next door with acceptable rates, this is a separate company and nothing to do with Premier Inn. The staff here at Premiere Inn Harrogate Town Centre, were polite, friendly, warm and approachable, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was well equipped, comfortable and cozy. Breakfast was hot and tasty. We opted for the full hot and continental breakfast which left us full, and such a lovely array of choices, along with teas, coffee and a selection of juices.
