    "Value for money"
Very clean with a comfortable bed and well designed bathroom. We had a pleasant welcome. The restaurant provided a good continental breakdast.
    "Does the job"
I stayed one night with the family at this hotel and generally speaking it was fine. A good amount of parking is available and the rooms are relatively clean. The beds and sheets are good and the rooms have air conditioning which was a plus point. The breakfast had a fairly decent variety although the crumpets and pancakes were very hard which was a shame. The reason I only gave it 3 stars was because the aircon was making a weird gargling noise during the night which was annoying. Also I’m not a fan of bath tubs and all the other hotels I have stayed in provide shower rooms nowadays. Toiletries are provided (Bayliss and Harding which was good) but toothbrushes are an extra. Also the reception area is not always manned and you have to press a button to call someone. From a security perspective I’d prefer if the reception area always had someone present. All in all does the job but if you are used to 5 star hotels it won’t blow you away.
    "Pleasant Stay"
We had a pleasant stay at Premier Inn Great Yarmouth. The room was clean, comfortable, and had the usual reliable Premier Inn layout. The only downside was that the window wouldn’t open, which made the room feel a little stuffy at times. Staff were friendly, check-in was smooth, and free parking on site was convenient. The location is great, with a large Asda superstore and the train station nearby. It also offers easy access to the seafront and local amenities—approximately a 5–10 minute drive, depending on traffic. Despite the hotel being fairly busy, it was quiet and we had a good night’s sleep. Would recommend as a base for exploring Norfolk.
"Not enough staff to look after us"
Regrettably the Premier inn has closed the original Brewer's Fayre style restaurant and has its own branded "meal service" in the remains of the restaurant. On that basis this review names the Premier Inn itself as the host. 3 of us stayed across 2 rooms this week. Tired after a long drive we reluctantly chose to eat on-site (we actually have a fave in town but just couldn't walk there). The staff in the hotel seem to be shared with the restaurant, and were trying they really were, but the result was still hopeless. After being seated we were kept waiting for 20 minutes before anyone took our order. Arrival to main course took one hour. Most of the room was deserted and it probably had 10% of the tables occupied as an absolute maximum estimate . No wonder the holding company recently posted record profits if they spread their staff so thin that they cannot look after the guests. Hotel ok - restaurant just never again - ever - if we are too tired in the future we would rather pay a taxi than be kept waiting so long. Sorry staff I know you were trying really hard - it is your business owners' fault for putting shareholders' interests above that of your guests
    "Good clean hotel"
We stayed in this Premier Inn while visiting the area for a family funeral. It was clean and the food was nice. There is a large free car park, which was the main reason why we chose this hotel, as we were travelling there via car. Breakfast is served in the pub on site. It's about a 10 minute drive from the main beach/shops area, which was not a problem for us as we had the car with us. However, this might not suit a family staying there for a holiday. There are several places to park in the main strip though, including a large car park not too far from the Pleasure Beach. The hotel is less than a 5 minute drive from the train station and ASDA (complete with petrol station). There's a McDonalds there too, handy for evening snacks! I would stay there again, if I was in the area.
