"Brilliant Location"
I stay at this hotel Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July 2026.On first arrival I thought the hotel reception staff was plecent and welcoming, the scouse lady asked did I arrive by car, which I'd did. She asked me to input my vehicle details into the tablet which was next to the reception desc for 2 nights free parking which to me was a massive bonus because at this complex you only get 3/4 hours free.
Upon arrival to room 5 lower floor first impressions, it was clean however a bit dated could do with a revamp. Shower was a bit naff but OK, towels was fresh and clesn. Bed was comfy and sheets was clean. The room was nice and quite which I like.
After unpacking I was quite thirsty for a chicky pint, my son met me in the bar which is adjacent to the reception, brewers fair the parent company. My son has just turned 18 so I wanted to buy him his first pint from his father. I must stress the bar guy I think his name is Nathan asked my son for I'd, which to me is a guy doing his job brilliant, also he's was plecent, friendly, welcoming and had very good customer communication skills, forgive me if I have got his name wrong (he knows who he is) 😉
I decided to buy a cooked breakfast on Monday morning to be honest I was a tad disappointed due to the fact that you had to ask for it, it wasn't help yourself. When I decided to order after a cup of coffee and a couple round of toast it was absolutely slow to arrive and not the hottest 😒 however the watris did apologise for been slow. The cooked breakfast was nice but as I say not the hottest.
Overall not a bad stay and convinced location, all the amunity are close by ie vew cinema, ten pin bowling, Nandos. Pity the bar and restaurant is closing in September 2026,in my opinion I think it's a big mistake, however it's just my opinion.
IF they revamp I may stay again it's looking past it's best guys😎

"Typcal Premier Inn"
Stayed here three nights. It's OK. Rooms are usual Premier Inn with excellent beds. It is reasonably quiet. Main issue is a lack of air-con and for about £130 / night, it was top end pricing.

"A good Premier Inn."
Stayed for 2 nights (£250 BnB including parking).
Firstly, it's a great location with a massive free car park (you have to register your reg in the hotel) with a bit going on on the trading estate it's on (VUE cinema, Nandos etc).
It's right next to the pier (shut at time of writing) and a 10 minute or so walk into the centre. Plenty going on in the centre, shops, pubs cafes etc. A fair few bookshops as well if you like that kind of thing. Southport looks like it's having a few quid spent on it as well - a few old buildings that have been closed for a while getting redeveloped.
We went out of season, but it was still quite busy - so I expect it to be rammed in the high season with the kids off school.
The hotel itself was pretty good (we have stayed before). No plus rooms as far as I could see but the quality of the standard room was more than adequate. Nice bath/shower.
Breakfast was your standard Premier Inn fare served in quite a large room. Popular with kids when the suns out at the weekend.
I'd probably stay again - as I have done before. Pretty good for a night or two.
