Cleethorpes hotel

The site and building are due for some major building work, but given that, we found this to be a well run and well-organised hotel. All of the staff were very welcoming, friendly, capable and hard-working. [Staffing of the restaurant in particular seemed to be minimalist, and was only made to work well by the determination of the staff team - senior management please note!] The room was as clean and presentable as we expected. The only grumble was a loose toilet seat, which was attended to. [However, it was said that management had decreed the model of toilet seat to be used, which unfortunately is of poor design, allowing the mountings to come loose time and time again. Management please note!] The hotel is well sited for touring the area, and there is plenty of promenade and sand dune walking to be had.

The hotel is well placed, great sized car park, nice rooms. We stayed in 217 and the air-conditioning worked a charm in the 30 degree heat. The room was clean and tidy (although the toilet roll needed refilling). In all the room was what we expect from a Premier Inn. Breakfast was great in the restaurant next door. The service on arrival made me regret booking and consider whether I ever want to stay with Premier Inn in future. Check in is 3pm. We went (as per the email received that morning) to see whether an early check in was possible. I was happy to pay. The lady at reception on Sat 21st June didnt take my name, didnt check the booking and said there was no chance of an early check in. I applaud her psychic abilities. How did she know without checking? It was 1:50pm! I explained we were desperate for a bathroom and was there one we could use before check in and was told 'no its out of order' and to go to McDonalds down the road. My child has a physical disability which meant that wasn't an option. Fortunately we went to the little railway station over the road where we got to use the bathroom with dignity and enjoyed their hospitality. Great hotel, but that lack of service was shocking. Dont recommend sadly 😔

Always the best sleep at Premier Inn... Comfiest beds, lovely soft towels, WiFi is always decent. Soap and shower gel provided. Extra pillows in the room if needed.

Great stay at cleethorpes, plenty of local amenities. Smallest pub across the way is ideal for around the restaurant next doors opening hours.. however service in the hotel and restaurant was fantastic on both occasions I didn’t catch the name of the person Tuesday evening as he was wearing a blazer so i couldn’t see name badge but jamie Wednesday asked for a review and gave me herself and her colleague Morgan’s name. Food came out in good time and was hot both evenings I couldn’t fault a thing. Thank you

Stayed at Cleethorpes premier inn last week and I don't even know where to start! It was amazing! 5 star service at all times. Checked in at the desk by Tom who was very thorough, pleasant, and efficient! Tom also served us in the restaurant and the service, again was exceptional! His service was 100% throughout and he eased the stress that we had encountered on our journey! Our room was such a spotless, fresh area! It was one of the best experiences I've had at a premier inn and I will definitely be returning! Thank you!
