"Positive and happy stay"
Great location. Good views on the top floors. Friendly atmosphere. Housekeeper Mandy, very bubbly and attentive to her job. Room is always clean and fresh bedding.
Front of house staff, Keanna and Sharon very friendly, kind, always polite, chatty. Very good at taking food orders, meals on time, freshly cooked and delicious 😋. Morning staff Paula and Toni always welcoming, keeps the breakfast area clean and tidy. Food is freshly cooked, very yummy and always enjoy a good cup of coffee in the morning.
I have stayed here over a month due to housing issues, no complaints, feel comfortable staying here, privacy maintained. Staff show respect and maintain dignity. Always work alongside the premier inn policy and values.

"Ellie-May was a Delight"
I can’t express into words how helpful Ellie-May was with me. She was so patient and professional. She spoke to me with kindness and respect and I have never experienced such a friendly welcome in all my travels. She did more for me than I expected. I would defo come back just because of her.

"Well Located Premier Inn"
This Premier Inn is situated in St George’s Tower very close to Leicester station.
As its location suggests, it’s housed in a tower block but the interior is far superior to the exterior.
The staff were most helpful when I failed to negotiate the online check in machine.
My room was spacious with tea & coffee making facilities plus bathroom complete with shower and bath tub.
My bed was also comfortable ensuring a good night’s sleep.
I used the bar for a relaxing gin & tonic prior to retiring for the night and the price was reasonable too.
I paid £11.99 for breakfast and was the first customer at 7 o’clock on a Sunday morning.
I had to wait a few minutes for the hot food to materialise but by the time I’d eaten my yoghurt and fruit, it was ready.
I liked the hot selection especially the freshly fried eggs and black pudding.
I paid £88 for a one night stay including breakfast.

"Would be back again"
This location is one of the branches with vast and advanced ammenities within and around.
Base at close proximity to train station, city center, the university, Gym and the BBC radio station. It could not be any better.
The staff are at hand to render assistance including check-in, coporately dressed and smart looking with smiles to welcome customers.
Check-in which can be manned or via the self-service is straighforward with the opportunity for early check-in at the desk.
Staff were aware of my adjuatment needs and provided just was required.
A room with adaptable toilet which included 2 sided hand-bars, walk-in shower with appropriate level cushioned shower seat (has hand bars and pressure was right).
I was marvelled by the provision of adjustable lightning whicb was dim and not too bright due to my sensitivity to light however the window which was wider compared to others in hotels I have visited, was shut and cannot be opened.
The effect of the warmth during this warm period was compensated by the provision of a self- operated Air- conditioning system in the room.
Again, windows are safety measures in times of fire disasters and should be made accessible without restriction.
Had a choice of bed and matress and selected the smaller one because it met my height adjustment need although the spacious king size bed would have been better, it was too low and would require support getting out of bed. The matrress was also too soft compared to the one provided on the smaller bed.
The choice of matrress and bed is important for my individuals with musculoskeletal health needs and the wrong choice can worsen condition, cause sleep deprivation with additional discomfort too.
Although there are USB and 3 holed- sockets in the room, none was located at the bed side thus any use would have to be at the desk located away from comfort.
Interestingly, most doors were silent when shut however, the one located next to my room which is also a fire door was not and it made uncomfortable loud noise when shut. As someone sensitive to light and sound, it interrupted by sleeping pattern and comfort.
The hotel provided one of the best cushioned sofa I have ever come across and it was a single well cushioned sofa which provided needed arm and back support required for use at the table.
It was more than comfortable and looking to get one of such for my needs.
Lastly, the location of the red triangle alarm in the room is akwkard. It was right in the middle of the two beds and could be unintentionally pulled by mistake. It was overly long and just was not in the right place at all. It would have difficult to get hold of it should an emergency arise while in bed or away at the desk.
Observed also are the stains on the protective covers laid on the king size bed and a false eye lashes.
Not only was it shocking but a demonstration of more supervision of laundry and linens, cleaning, staff and room inspections prior to check-ins by customers.
Carpert otherwise were not in a bad state but a slight odour was emanating from them. While this is observed during summer times in hotels due to heat and lack of proper ventilation, the management has the responsibility of ensuring the hotel is appealing and in good condition for users.
The hotel has step-free provisions at the entrance and in the building for individuals with mobility adjustment needs. It tops my priority for booking again as I have had set-backs getting an hotel with the adaptable or accessible requirement for my stay.
Many hotels lack step-free access at the entrance nor lift or adaptable facilities in bathrooms, rooms and toilets.
Infact, many hotels advertise rooms with no options for accessible or adaptable faclities.
Some hotels have mentioned they do have accessible rooms but that is disputed if it was never advertised on their booking sites rather than the excuse or claim they had been booked out.
It was a relief to find premier inn had such facility although not all of its branches have lift or step-free entrances.
I did not have any meal at the hotel and did not enquire about the price or dietary requirement knowing fully that majority of the branches do not offer halal choices.
The price paid as a budget hotel is justified and would be back again.

"Very disappointing experience at Leicester Premier Inn"
Very disappointing experience at Leicester Premier Inn
I booked two family rooms for two families more than a month in advance and specifically requested that they be close together, as I have done at other Premier Inn hotels without any issues. A few weeks before our stay, I also called to add another night.
When we arrived shortly after 3pm on 12 August 2026, we were given rooms 504 and 510, which were far apart. I reminded the receptionist that I had specifically requested rooms close together. She apologised for the mix-up and offered to change room 504 to room 509 on 13 August, close to room 510, and said they would add an extra bed to room 509 to make the arrangement work. I accepted, although this meant we had to spend the first night in rooms far apart. The receptionist left a written note for the next shift confirming the arrangement.
On the morning of 13 August, the receptionist on duty was extremely rude and refused to honour the arrangement. She did not even read her colleague’s written note until I insisted. She then specifically told me that the Leicester Premier Inn does not have any two family rooms close together anywhere within the entire building. I find this unbelievable and completely contrary to what I know from my previous Premier Inn experiences, as well as what her colleague had told me the previous day.
She also said they could not add the extra bed to room 509, despite her colleague having specifically offered this arrangement the day before.
To make matters worse, the toilet in room 510 was not working. When maintenance came to fix it, the staff member opened our occupied room with a key card without knocking. When we questioned him, he said we should have locked the door if we did not want anyone to enter. I find this completely unacceptable.
This experience was extremely disappointing—not simply because of the room allocation, but because of the contradictory information, failure to honour an arrangement, rude customer service, faulty facilities and lack of basic courtesy when entering an occupied room.
I would strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodation nearby. Unless management provides a proper explanation and apology, I will not stay at Leicester Premier Inn again and cannot recommend it.
