"Great stay"
Had a lovely few days staying here. Hotel is right in the middle of busy Blackpool, but we were given an internal room and didn't hear any outside noise. Hotel was clean, and the staff were great, as usual with a Premier Inn. Will be back!
"Great location. Would stay again."
The location is very good. It's about 600 yards from Blackpool North train and tram station (from the train station walk through the underpass to the tram station and follow the tram lines to the hotel), and similar distance from Blackpool Tower and leading shops. The seafront, Wetherspoons and Harry Ramsden are all just a few hundred yards away. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside and the reception is fairly small, but it was well furnished inside, the rooms clean, and the staff friendly. While the quality of furnishings and size of my room were good, the furnishings are fairly spartan: no phones, no desk drawers, only one cupboard drawer. Price was good.
"Enjoyable"
Excellent in all aspects clean, comfy beds , food , security and pleasant staff ! Would definitely use again and recommend
"Decent stay. A few negatives in the Bar / Restaurant"
Check-in took a while. Room fine but still got hot despite having aircon. Most feedback is regarding the bar / restaurant: Breakfast was superb. Good quality. Chef (local lad in his 30s) was so kind & helpful. Girl with the hairband so welcoming too. Why on earth during the school summer holidays does the bar shut at 10pm? Absolute lunacy. Fair enough low season but families just coming back after seeing the illuminations were chased away & having ordered drinks at 2155 we were literally shooed back to our rooms at 2210. Never known anything like it?! They also did a dirty trick they did once before 3 years ago. Advertise a value midweek menu for £6 (meaning you can feed a family cheaply) then when you arrive “Computer sez no” & the same microwaved dish costs £14!! Scandalous.
"Horrible place gone downhill"
Arrived here Sunday 31st august for 2 nights , beds were filthy and bathroom was mouldy, told staff about beds to be asked what exactly was wrong with beds and their leniency of what they are allowed to leave is not great and that she didnt agree with it either , duvet sheet and pillow dirty and single bed duvet cover was dirty ! was just filth at first i though was just duvet covers but can clearly see orange food or whatever it is !! Orange marks that look like its been tried to be wiped off as was damp, stayed here a few years ago and was brilliant so standards have deffo slipped, didn't want to sleep here after this but have 2 autistic children who were excited so didnt want to ruin there few days
