Blackpool (Bispham) hotel

Fantastic hotel with plenty of parking. The rooms were clean and tidy. The food and drink was tasty and with a good selection. The staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks so much.

Have stayed here quite a few times and have never had any problems until now. Upon Checking in the 1st lady we spoke to was very abrupt and rude. Never mentioned about parking to us. Our room wasn’t ready so we headed to the restaurant where the lady there told us about the parking. (We have never paid for parking before here) went back to check in and there was another lady on reception who was lovely couldn’t fault her. Room was big and clean no problems there until through the night. Was put in a room that had the restaurant at side of us. The sound coming from there all night was awful it sounded like an industrial microwave buzzing all night and it was so hot so had to have window open as no air conditioning and the fan wasn’t the best. So sleep wasn’t great for 3 nights this time. 2nd morning went for breakfast to find restaurant shut due to power failure, but looking at other reviews this now seems to be reoccurring. The lady on reception told us where to go for breakfast. I asked could we not go to another premier inn she said yes but will still have to pay, why when we had already paid do we need to pay again🤷🏻‍♀️. So for 2 days had to arrange somewhere else for breakfast,so instead of just popping next door you had jump in your car and find somewhere and having a 4 year old isn’t much fun. Don’t think we will stay at this particular premier inn again as it’s a shame as for us it’s served us well in the past.

Great customer service staff on reception just make your stay well done .Richard and lady on tonight 22nd help us so much to get right room. We will be back .

We have stayed at this Premier Inn many times before for as a suitable base for multiple dance competitions at the Winter gardens. This time we were a little disappointed on arrival, firstly parking is now charged for which when added to the parking charge I have to pay in central Blackpool for our day takes away the advantage that this site previously had. Secondly we were informed at check-in that the restaurant was closed for the weekend so our pre-booked breakfast was not be charged. It's okay not to be charged for a service that wouldn't be received but this also meant that the option to have a drink on site was no longer available and we would also have to find breakfast from elsewhere. If both of these points of information had been known prior to our arrival it is likely that we would not have booked and for future events it is unlikely that we will return.
