Blackpool (Bispham) hotel

Really good two-night stay overall. The room was clean, comfortable and exactly the standard you’d expect from Premier Inn. The bed was comfy, TV and facilities were good, and the shower was particularly good! Check-in was excellent too – the gentleman who welcomed us was friendly, approachable and had a good laugh with me. A special mention has to go to **Brian in the restaurant**, who was exceptional. I saw him morning and evening throughout our stay and he was always extremely pleasant, polite, accommodating and working incredibly hard. I did feel that some of the other staff could have spoken to him a little more respectfully rather than being quite so blunt when asking him to do things, particularly given how hard he was working. Brian was actually one of the main reasons I wanted to leave this review – an absolute credit to the hotel. My only real criticism is that the room refreshments were very stingy – one coffee sachet and two teabags for the room really isn’t enough for a two-night stay! Other than that, a very good stay and I’d happily stay again.

Stayed for one night at Premier Inn Bispham. Check-in and check-out were easy and the staff were very friendly. I paid for an 11am early check-in, but it’s worth knowing this isn’t guaranteed. It depends on whether the previous guest checks out early enough for the room to be cleaned. I called the night before and was told it wouldn’t be available, but called again at 8am and they managed to find us a room ready for 11am, which was great. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t very clean. There were nail clippings on the floor, dirt around the bathroom skirting boards and hair in the toilet and shower. The room was also very hot at around 24°C despite it being only 16°C outside, and the fan provided was broken and couldn’t be adjusted. Overall, an okay stay, but the cleanliness and temperature of the room really let it down.

Lovely clean room and a lovely powerful shower. Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed for one night. The hotel room was clean but unfortunately had a very damp/musty smell when you entered in (each and every time), which we thought was coming from the bathroom. The bed was surprisingly soft - not the usual quality of a Premier Inn mattress) - so we found it a little uncomfortable. However, the hotel was quiet with no noise disturbance at any point. It also felt very secure with the 24 hour reception (with a member of staff present every time we passed) and keycard entry to access the corridors of the hotel. Parking cost a small amount, but this was easy to sort at reception on the ipad screen. When we checked in, the member of staff was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations about how evening meal. In the morning, we had breakfast at the adjoining restaurant. The food was served buffet style, with every display full and plentiful. The staff in the restaurant were friendly, attentive and very "on it" when it came to allergies. It meant we felt set up for our day of exploring.
