    "An enjoyable stay"
This was our 3rd visit to this particular hotel & we had a lovely stay. Staff were polite, friendly & helpful. The only issue we had was that the WiFi was poor & I couldn't get a 4G signal on my phone until I walked outside the hotel. However, that didn't detract from enjoying our stay here. We are already thinking about another visit in December.
"AVOID this hotel at all COST !!!"
⭐ 1/5 – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs! We booked a short family break at Premier Inn Sandown and it turned out to be one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Early check-in: We arrived around 1:30pm and were charged £15 for early check-in, despite arriving only about an hour early. For the extra money, we expected at least a clean room — instead, the room was filthy. Room condition: The floor was covered in crumbs and sand, the bathroom floor was wet, tables were stained, and there were coffee stains on the bedside table. The bed had visible stains, the base was ripping apart, and the furniture was in terrible condition. There was dust everywhere, handprints on the door, and the room had no privacy curtains like other rooms. I have photos to prove this. Staff & service: I complained immediately, but instead of moving us to another room, I was told a cleaner would come — no apology given. Later, the night staff offered to move us after dinner, but the other room wasn’t cleaned either, so we had to stay put. Staff were dismissive, unhelpful, and often on their phones instead of assisting guests. Completely unprofessional. My son’s asthma flared up badly because of the dust in the carpets, which made the stay even more stressful. Housekeeping: Housekeeping was poor throughout. Beds were made, but the floor was never properly hoovered. When I asked about it, I was told they “don’t hoover every day, only when needed,” which is shocking in a seaside hotel where guests bring in sand and dust. Even after specifically requesting hoovering, the floor was left dirty. Breakfast: The breakfast was another disappointment. Food was messy across the counters, and I personally witnessed a chef drop a fried egg onto the surface and pick it up with bare hands, then put it back on the tray instead of throwing it away. This was completely unhygienic and made me lose my appetite. Since breakfast was prepaid, no refund was offered even though we couldn’t eat it. Overall: From day one, the experience was unacceptable. The rooms look nothing like the photos advertised, the furniture is old and dirty, and the staff showed no care or professionalism. I’ve stayed at other Premier Inns before and never had an issue, but this location was appalling. What was meant to be a special mini-holiday for my daughter before starting high school was completely ruined. The only positive is the location near the beach, but that does not make up for the lack of cleanliness, poor service, and unsafe hygiene standards. Premier Inn needs to seriously investigate this hotel, as it is taking people’s money without delivering the most basic level of service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Weekend visit to Isle of Wight"
Hotel is well place opposite the beach. Great for families wanting easy access to the beach and sea. Food good as exepcted with premier Inn. Room was comforatable with tea coffee facilities. Generally clean execpt bath room edges quite duty and dirt building up. Parking available out side hotel although expensive at 12.00 for 24 hours.
    "Family long weekend away"
Good points: - This Premier Inn is in an amazing location, right next to the beach, close to shops, restaurants etc. The view from the room was stunning. - easy to get to by public transport. - The staff are all lovely and extremely helpful. Very welcoming and friendly. - breakfast was nice and a good price. Great selection. Issues: - The family room we stayed in was very very compact for me and 2 children, it felt too small. All 3 beds were touching and there was very little room to move about. This would have been okay if we were only staying for one night but as it was for 3 nights it was difficult to find room for us all and our luggage. - the phone signal was awful. Additionally the WiFi even the premium WiFi (at an additional cost) was bad. I would advise against paying for this as it did not make any difference. - limited Freeview channels, I assume this may link to a signal issue but we could only access about 5 channels during our stay. -the room was clean overall however is rather run down for a fairly new premier inn, it could just do we a bit of fresh paint, bathroom remedial including fixing the hole in the wall and a deep clean. - we paid for an early check in from 11am but were unable to access the room when we arrived at 11:30 however staff were pleasant and advised they could store our luggage for us until the room became available. We were able to access the room just after 12:30. -room temperature control - the lowest the aircon temperature goes down to in the room is 19, with 3 of us in the room during the recent hot weather it was too hot and made sleep rather difficult. The issue is made worse by the fact that there is no way of opening the window in the room. When raised with reception they advised it cannot go lower than 19 but did provide a fan.
