"SECURITY RISK DO NOT STAY HERE!! Intruders claiming to be staff access to your room."
We went for breakfast at 9.30am and left the do no disturb sign on our door. We returned 45 minutes later to discover an intruder in our room. He was wearing all black, not the usually Premier Inn uniform. When I questioned him on why he had entered our room despite the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door, said he was from housekeeping and was cleaning the room. All of our personal possessions had been moved including my wife's hand bag containing all of her bank cards. As we could not use the room due to the strange man in there we had to check out early and unprepared. We complained to reception and they agreed that we had been treat very badly but said there was nothing they could do.
    "Its a No from me!"
If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be slowly baked alive while trying to sleep in a broom cupboard with two of your closest friends and a soundtrack of drunk karaoke outside your window, then congratulations — this Premier Inn is the place for you. The room was advertised as suitable for three people. By “three people” they must mean three action figures, because trying to fit three actual humans in there was like watching clowns pile into a Mini Cooper. Cozy doesn’t even begin to cover it — more like claustrophobic chic. Now, let’s talk about the air-conditioning. Oh wait, there isn’t any. Instead, we were given the thrilling choice: Keep the window closed and recreate the experience of sleeping inside an oven. Open the window for a breath of “fresh” air, only to be serenaded all night by a chorus of shrieking partygoers, revving engines, and what I can only assume was a stag do auditioning for Britain’s Got Talent at 3 a.m. If only there had been air-con, we could have shut the window and enjoyed the soundproofing. Instead, Premier Inn’s solution seems to be: “Sweat it out and enjoy the nightlife you didn’t ask for.” By the morning, we looked like we’d just finished a marathon in the Sahara, with the added bonus of zero sleep. Honestly, I’ve had better rest on budget airlines — and at least there they give you free air. Would I stay here again? Only if the alternative is a park bench during a thunderstorm. At least that would come with natural ventilation.
    "Great location, great value"
Great hotel in a great location. A few minutes walk to Oxford Road Station and Palace Theatre which we visited. Nice clean modern room with comfortable bed. Tea and coffee and kettle. Nice friendly staff and great value for money
    "Manchester you were a blast."
Extremley helpful staff. Very inclusive venue, travelled with 2 neuro diverse children. Clean, central hotel. Ate evening meal and breakfast there. Plenty of choice and the meal deal was excellent value for money. Would certainly stay there again.
    "Stay away during summer warmth"
Entire hotel building get very warm (at least 5C warmer than exterior temperature). Room windows can barely be opened. No air conditioner. Stays not recommended if forecast exterior temperature above 22C.
