Manchester City Centre (Portland Street) hotel

Me and my daughter stayed here for 2 nights to go to a concert and never being to Manchester before this hotel was an ideal location for getting around, bed was so comfortable that someone who has suffered insomnia for 15 years I actually got a solid 5 hours sleep for the first time in so long and actually woke up refreshed! Rooms are a very decent size and clean. Breakfast was well organised and good. The staff made it through! So attentive and helpful, let us keep our room an hour later on check out day so we didn't have to rush back from our plans (i only asked about a room to store luggage in until our train was due but they offered that and more!) especially as there was a massive protest directly behind the hotel so getting back took a bit longer to get around that normal, absolutely excellent stay and we are already looking to come back! No complaints at all

We always stay in this hotel when we visit Manchester. The hotel is always clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a convenient location close to the city centre, restaurants, shops, China Town, the Arndale Centre and the Printworks. Its also situated close to two tram stops (St Peters Square and Picadilly).

Friendly staff , clean comfy and spacious rooms, great value for money. Very good location too, Chinatown is just around the corner and it's a nice quiet location at night

Great time, staff are very friendly especially Pavlo. Hes was always smiling.

I’ve had a very plesent stay and the staff especially Paulo at breakfast were very helpful. It would be great if I had control over the heat in my room as it was too warm to sleep well.
